As with most games, your inventory in My Time at Sandrock can quickly fill up. It’s not surprising, considering the ton of materials and resources you have to gather just to maintain your workshop.

Fortunately, you don’t have to contend with a full inventory at all times as the game offers you ways to increase your total inventory size.

If you don’t know how, then this guide is perfect for you.

How to Increase Inventory or Backspace Size in My Time at Sandrock

The game will give you a total of 29 inventory slots when you start the game. While that might sound plenty enough, that number can easily become full the more you progress through the game. Luckily, increasing your inventory size is quite simple, albeit expensive.

All you need to do is open your inventory, look for the large plus button just right next to the final open slot, then buy it.

The price for an inventory upgrade will be per slot, with the first 11 slots costing 10 Gols each. From there, the price goes up without any defined limit.

Once you have 40 inventory slots, the price for the next 10 slots will cost 20 Gols each. Then, 50 to 60 slots will cost 50 Gols each and any extra slot past 60 will cost 100 Gols each. Increasing your total inventory size to 60 slots alone will cost you a total of 810 Gols, which is no doubt expensive.

Luckily, you can reduce the cost of these extra slots by unlocking the Storage Knowledge skill. It’s not that much at only 5% for the first level and 10% for the second level, but the overall savings will add up eventually.
