Update 1.08.0 for Crimson Desert added a new Baby Wyvern pet, but to get it you’ll need to find and hatch its egg.
This is actually not too complicated to do, but you do need to know where to look! You need to know where to find the egg, and then how to make it actually hatch into the Baby Wyvern.
In this quick guide, I’ll tell you how to get the Baby Wyvern pet easily.
How to Get the Wyvern Egg
To start, you’ll need to go to the Wyvern’s Cradle. It’s in the Dewhaven region, just north of the Three Brothers’ Cliff area. I’ve marked it on the map above for you.
How to Fix Bugged Quests in Crimson DesertMay 27, 2026Once you reach the Wyvern’s Cradle, go north in the middle level of the ruins and you should see a wall with blue and gold glimmering on it. Use the Focused Force Palm skill on it to remove it, revealing a small cave.
Then, go inside the small cave and check the far wall to your right. You should spot a Wyvern Egg on the ground there, close to a nearby chest. Make sure to open that chest, by the way! It’s not needed for this, but loot is loot.
Anyway, grab the Wyvern Egg once you find it. The video below shows how to find the cave and open it to reach the Wyvern Egg.
How to Hatch the Wyvern Egg
Next up, you’ll need to carry the Wyvern Egg to a specific spot. Go directly south of the cave you’re in and drop down a bit to reach a nest made out of large branches.
Once you’ve found and reached the nest, place the Wyvern Egg on it. If you did this right, you’ll notice that the egg starts to glow.
Now, you just need to wait a while until you get the Hatch prompt. The video below shows this process.
