If you want to get the best gear for your class in Farever, you’ll need to learn which dungeons are the best.
While the gearing system is relatively simple in this game, there are already about a dozen dungeons for you to take on. Not all of them are equal, obviously, so you need to pick the best for optimal gear farming!
In this guide, I’ll tell you everything you need to know for the best gear farming possible.
Consider the Gear Faction You Want

When it comes to gearing up, Farever is thankfully pretty simple currently. That said, there is one thing to keep in mind first: which “faction” you want to focus on. These are primarily the Kobolds, Bees, and Manfish.
While there are other factions in the game, such as Crimson, they currently do not have dedicated dungeons. As such, farming the best gear for those is currently not as easy or reliable.
Regardless, the faction is important to keep in mind if you’re looking to farm for some specific piece of gear. Dungeons will only drop gear related to the faction they’re tied to.
With that said, the faction for each piece of gear primarily affects the secondary attributes. Depending on the faction, the gear might have specific attributes as follows:
- Kobold – Crit Chance (Warrior), Armor Penetration (Rogue), Magical Penetration (Mage), Crit Chance (Priest).
- Bee – Armor Penetration (Warrior), Crit Chance (Rogue), Fervor (Mage), Magical Penetration (Priest).
- Manfish – Armor Penetration (Warrior), Fervor (Rogue and Priest), Magical Penetration (Mage).
- Crimson (No Dungeons) – Fervor (Warrior and Priest), Crit Chance (Rogue and Mage).
As you’ll also have noticed, which secondary attributes you get also depend on your Class. The loot you get in this game is dependent on your Class, after all!
Best Dungeons to Get the Best Gear for Each Faction
Now that you know the basics of how factions affect the gear you get, it’s time to talk about the dungeons.
After all, each one of those 3 main factions has multiple dungeons you can use for gearing. For picking the best one, I’ve taken into consideration which one is overall the fastest and/or easiest for each faction. Of course, I also considered the community’s meta picks!

Starting with the Kobolds, the best pick for speed would be Ratsar’s Lair in Enripit. The boss can be tough, but the dungeon goes by extremely quickly if you know how to deal with him.

Alternatively, Mine Estrone in Honeywoods is also a solid choice. It’s much easier than Ratsar’s Lair overall, at the cost of taking much longer to clear out.

For Bees, it can be tough to pick just one. All of the Bee dungeons are relatively long and challenging. Overall, though, I’d recommend Honeyzabeth’s Hivetrunk in Azuram for most players.

As for the Manfish faction, the Lost City of Mayda in Meridion is the best choice overall. It’s fairly simple and can go by extremely quickly, making it an easy pick for Manfish gear farming.
Lastly, it’s worth noting that I recommend doing all of these dungeons on Hard mode. This scales the dungeons up to Level 20, ensuring you only get Level 20 gear and weapons!
Where to Get Specific Weapons

With all of that said, and the recommended dungeons laid out, it’s time to address the topic of weapons themselves. While armor farming can be done focusing on just any faction dungeon, weapons are a bit different.
The main thing to note is that you can only get specific weapons from specific bosses. For example, you can only get the Clawdius fists by clearing the Crabgantua’s Gorge dungeon.
So, to help you out with this, here’s a quick list of what weapons you can get from each dungeon:
| Dungeon | Weapon Drops |
| Lost City of Mayda | Irons Fins of the Leviathan (Dual Axes) |
| Ghost Clams of the Low Tide (Halos) | |
| Mine Estrone | Cheese Moon (Axe) |
| Flame of Argol (Scepter) | |
| Crabgantua’s Gorge | Clawdius (Fists) |
| Crabgantua’s Kneecap (Shield) | |
| Ratsar’s Lair | Judgement (Two-handed Axe) |
| Twin Fangs of Ratsar (Daggers) | |
| Trunk of the Hivetree | Thornlace (Crescent) |
| Lady Bee’s Ceremonial Stinger (Spear) | |
| Lady Bee’s Palace | Ipheion, Star Blossom (Thrown) |
| Beefury, Blessed Blade of the Farseeker (Sword) | |
| Ruins of Gorgon’s Hollow | Magma Mia (Shield) |
| Gorgon Ratsay’s Toothpick (Spear) | |
| Abyss of New Atlaan | Book of Mi’Mizan (Book) |
| Horns of the Wind (Bow) | |
| Honeyzabeth’s Hivetrunk | Wingsabers (Dual Swords) |
| Pocket Hive (Two-handed Mace) | |
| Cheese Station | Twin Pillars of Justice (Dual Maces) |
| Amon Ram, the Creator (Mace) |
If you’re looking for a specific weapon type, follow the chart above so that you know the best dungeon to farm for your build.
Wrapping Up
Ultimately, the best way to get gear for your class in Farever is to focus on doing specific dungeons. Just keep in mind the secondary attribute rules for each faction and then go to one of the recommended dungeons.
To recap, the recommended dungeons are Ratsar’s Lair for Kobold, Honeyzabeth’s Hivetrunk for Bee, and Lost City of Mayda for Manfish. Specific weapons will require you to do specific dungeons, though.
Nonetheless, I hope this helps you farm the best gear possible for your build and class. Speaking of classes, though, do you want to make the most of the Warrior class? Check out our full guide on Warrior!
