Getting a strong start in Farever comes down to knowing where to look and having a reliable route to run early on. Chests in the early game are one of the best sources of gold, gear, weapon training books, class skill runes, recipes, bags and consumables, and having a consistent route to farm them makes a noticeable difference to how quickly your character gets off the ground.

The best part about this route is that it can be run on a completely fresh character right from level one. Whether you are a new player trying to build a foundation or running an alt and want to get it up to speed fast, in this guide I will walk you through one of the best early chest farm routes currently available in Farever so you can start stacking up progression rewards as quickly as possible.

Best Early Game Chest Run

Before I get into the full explanation, I have marked the complete route on the map below. It shows every chest location you need to hit. It also shows where to respawn and where to bank your items before looping back and repeating the process. I recommend taking a good look at the map first before reading through the rest of the guide so you have a clear picture of the route in your head before I break it down step by step.

After creating your character and spawning into Imago Shore, mount up and head toward the nearest Obelisk in the Imago Meadows. Interact with it to set it as your respawn point.

Once that is done, head up the tower nearby and grab the chest at the top. After collecting it, glide south toward the Imago Bay area where you will spot a sunken ship. There is a chest sitting underwater there. Grab it and then open the game menu and respawn back at the Obelisk.

After respawning, make your way to the Imago Cliff area and grab the chest there. Then head toward the southern part of Imago Cliff and pick up the chest there as well. Once you have both of those chests sorted, respawn again.

Now head north toward the Imago Creek and grab the chest there. While you are in the area, make sure you pick up the Training Manual book from Haydn Seek who is located near the waterfalls. After that, grab the chest in the Barbarian’s Stray Sands area and then make your way toward Primevalley Nevelin.

Banking Everything

The reason for heading there rather than simply respawning is the Guild Merchant. If you respawn at this point you will end up wasting the gold you have collected on the run. Instead, head to the Guild Merchant and spend your gold on useful items like Blank Pages depending on how much you have accumulated.

Once you have bought what you can, bank everything in your inventory. After that simply log out, create a new character and repeat the entire process from the beginning.

Here’s a walkthrough of the entire chest run from start to finish.

That’s It

That is the full early chest farm route in Farever. It is one of the most efficient ways to stack up gold, gear, runes and other valuable resources right from level one without needing any prior progression on the character. The more times you run it, the faster you get at clearing each chest location and the whole loop becomes second nature pretty quickly.
