If you are one of the few people who bought The First Berserker: Khazan early, then you are probably wondering how to get those free pre-order or even deluxe edition bonuses that were promised to you. With this guide, we will try to quickly go through the steps you need to follow in order to claim your free stuff and give yourself a nice boost at the start of the game.
How to Claim Pre-Order & Deluxe Bonuses in The First Berserker: Khazan
If you pre-ordered the game, you are supposed to receive the following items as a reward, which nobody else who buys the game following the official release can obtain in the future:
Fallen Star’s Resolve
Fallen Star’s Mark
Fallen Star’s Scar
Fallen Star’s Tattered Clothing
Fallen Star’s Shackles
As you can see, it is a whole armorset that can give you a significant boost early when you first start the game. In addition to that, those who purchased the deluxe edition not only gain a few days of early access to the game, but also the following items:
Hero’s Dual Wield Weapon
Hero’s Spear
Hero’s Greatsword
Hero’s Helm
Hero’s Wristguards
Hero’s Pauldrons
Hero’s Leggings
Hero’s Combat Boots
In order to claim all of these rewards, both the deluxe and pre-order ones, all you need to do is progress through the opening segments of the game. Once you get past the tutorial and clear the second mission of the game, you will unlock the Crevice, which is a sort of hub area of The First Berserker: Khazan.
Here, you will find a glowing barrel. This is known as the Reward Barrel, and both your pre-order and deluxe edition free items can be claimed from this container. That is pretty much it, you should now have all of your free gear, giving you a nice headstart over the average player.
Both sets of gear can be used as a cosmetic or also upgraded later on to scale with the content that you will encounter later in the game. This makes them incredibly useful no matter what stage you have reached, so they are definitely worth getting if you have the money to do so.
It should be noted that these are not going to be obtainable at a later date, though at least the deluxe edition gear can still be acquired by buying it. Unlike the pre-order stuff, this is not getting removed from the store at all.
You might also want to update your game to the latestversion if you have not already. If you see that your game has a pending update on whichever platform you purchased it on, go ahead and download that first to ensure that your free stuff can be claimed from the reward barrel.

If he’s not busy working or writing on his personal blog, there’s also a non-zero chance that you stumble into him in pretty much any multiplayer game that has SEA or OCE servers. He’s pretty good at anything unless it’s a fighting game, in which case you’d probably body him.
