84 articlesThere are a bunch of interesting puzzles that you’ll come across during your adventure in Honkai: Star Rail. While some are quite obvious, some are a bit subtle.
One good example is the Old Box in the Fight Club area.
If you head to this area, you’ll notice a tiny Old Box in the corner sitting on top of a table. You will be able to interact with it; however, you will need to enter the right combination to open it.
In this guide, we’ll show you the exact combination to enter in order to open the Old Box.

To start, you want to head to the Fight Club which is within Boulder Town in the Herta Space Station. Once you get inside, turn left and you should be able to find the Old Box on top of a table.
Interact with it to start a dialogue stating that the Old Box contains a total of four slots which correspond to four numbers. Basically, the combination is a four-digit number.
You’ll then see dialogue options where you can choose the right number for the combination.
Long story short, the combination is Zero > Two > One > Three. Do keep in mind that you have to enter the combination in the exact order as mentioned. Otherwise, you’ll have to start again.
After entering the combination, you’ll then be able to open the box. It will reveal Scott’s letter regarding a traffic incident in the Belobog Administrative District.
Once you have read the letter, your character will then return it inside the box and lock it again using the combination that you entered earlier. Your character will then pretend as if nothing happened.
