11 articlesThere are many zones to explore and clear in Hollow Knight Silksong, and just like in the first game, there are times where you might get stuck in a certain part because you got lost or can’t figure out what to do. If you ever find yourself in this situation upon reaching the Far Fields, this guide will try to help you navigate the level in order to finally reach Greymoor and proceed with the rest of this long-awaited story.
Hollow Knight: Silksong – How to Leave Far Fields and Go to Greymoor
To get past the Far Fields area, you must first complete the Flexile Spines quest, which is something you can start by speaking with the seamstress. To finish the quest, you will need to get a total of 25 spine cores from those spiked enemies found in the nearby caves.
According to the seamstress, these floating bugs can drop some flexible and strong spines, so start jumping around and kill as much as you need to get enough for the quest. Upon finishing the quest, you will get the Drifter’s Cloak, which will let you ride through strong winds.
With the cloak on hand, you can now fly up above where the seamstress lives. You will see a bunch of orange rocks that you can hit. This will trigger an explosion, so be ready to jump out of the way first! After one of these rocks explode, it will create a current that you can ride upwards.

That is really all there is to it. Just watch out for all the explosions whenever you create a new wind current leading upwards! Take your time with it until you reach the very top, and you will eventually find your way to your destination.
