If you ever find yourself in this situation upon reaching the Deep Docks, this guide will try to help you get through to the next area in order to finally proceed with the rest of this much anticipated story.
Hollow Knight: Silksong – How to Leave Deep Docks and Get to Far Fields
To get to the Far Fields area, you should first get swift step. We actually already have a guide on how to unlock swift step (dash) in Hollow Knight Silksong that will help you with that. Just head over there first and come back here once you have unlocked it.
With swift step unlocked, you can now sprint and leap by first holding whichever key is appropriate for your control scheme. Using this ability, you can now clear gaps up ahead, allowing you to proceed through the rest of the map.
Eventually, you will run into a boss named Lace. You have to take Lace down before you can proceed, so good luck with the fight! After that, you can now go all the way to the right, which will lead you to the Far Fields, which you will need swift step to reach.
