While moving through the main story, you may run into them. The In Service of Asgard is one of the Favors you can find, and we’ll show you how to do it.
How to Complete the Favor, In Service of Asgard Mining Rigs in God of War Ragnarok
By speaking with the dwarf, Raeb, you can begin the In Service of Asgard Favor. Shut down three furnaces to get this favor. He can be found inside Svartalfheim’s Nidavellir Tavern. With him, you should first talk about the main quest, The Quest For Tyr.
After you’re done speaking with the dwarf, a tiny blue marking will show up above his head. The In Service of Asgard, which you can also track in the Goals menu, will start if you speak to him again.

Three mining rigs will need to be turned off; we’ll start with Modvitnir’s.
Modvitnir’s Rig
Visit the location marked on your map as Modvitnir’s Rig. The first mining rig is located at the summit of the mountain. Utilize the chain to ascend the hill.
There is a troll protecting it, so take caution. After eliminating all the nearby opponents, walk over to the furnace and interact with it to destroy it.
Radsvinn’s Rig
Go to this place, which is also where Sindri’s Shop is. Turn northeast and ascend the slope from the store. To go to Radsvinn’s Rig, climb the wooden platform.
Get rid of all the nearby enemies. To destroy the furnace, approach it and interact with it.
Althjof’s Rig
You must solve a puzzle to get to the final mining rig. Navigate to Althjof’s Rig with the boat. Northwest of Radsvinn’s Rig is where it is situated.
Climb the golden chain when you get to Althjof’s Rig Boat Dock. You’ll notice an interactive wheel in the section after this.
You can view this grappling point if you go around it. You can interact with it to lower the platform.
To pull the gantry down, return to the wheel and interact with it.
Utilize them to cross over to the other side.
Use the Blades of Chaos to ignite the red barrel to cross through the red barricade.
Turn left and ascend this ledge. A large iron gate is on the right; approach and interact with it to open it.
To clear a route, descend and ignite the red barrel with the Blades of Chaos.
Turn left and ascend the wooden wall.
Go to the edge of the platform once you’ve reached the top. To break the stone on the ground, press O. Kill every enemy below. Find another grappling point, then release the platform with the Blades of Chaos.
Return to the wheel and turn it to raise the platform. You can now get to the final mining rig. To complete the In Service of Asgard Favor, shut down Althjof’s Rig.
