Genshin Impact: Go Deep Within the Fell Dragon’s Lair Guide

The latest 4.8 update of Genshin Impact was released not too long ago and it added the limited Simulanka region with a couple of new events such as the Summertide Scales and Tales.

One of the major quests of this event is the “Until the End of the World” in which you will be tasked with venturing deep into the lair of the Fell Dragon. In this guide, I will provide a complete walkthrough of how to do that.

Go Deep Within the Fell Dragon’s Lair

After getting the Dragon Scale and entering the Waterfall. Go to the end of the cave to find the entrance to the Dragon’s Lair. When you enter the Dragon Lair, you will get a cutscene and once that is over, simply head forward in the direction shown below.

You will come across an area with a magic thread. When you get here, you will get a short cutscene in which two toy soldiers will rush off to defeat the evil dragon. After the cutscene , fly along the magic thread to get to the other side.

And then simply keep moving forward. Use the quest marker as a guide in case you get lost.

You will eventually reach an area with broken railroads. To get across, pick the magic thread pillar and place it in the spot marked below. Then fly along the magic thread to get across.

Once you get across, you will encounter a bunch of mobs. Fight and defeat them. After that, a toy NPC will give you a toy bomb. Place the toy bomb on the red wall shown below. The explosion will create an opening in the wall, go inside it.

First Dragon Encounter

Keep heading forward and you will reach the area shown below. This is where you will encounter the Evil Simulanka Dragon for the first time.

After the Dragon cutscene, just avoid the Dragon’s attacks for a while and you will get another cutscene. And once that cutscene is over, you will find yourself in a different area. Go inside the elevator marked below and attack the elevator mechanism to ascend.

Once you reach the top, simply follow the path marked in the image below.

You will reach the area shown below in which you will find a toy NPC who will give you a Toy Bomb.

Pick up the Toy Bomb and place it on the cube marked below. The explosion will reveal a spot in which you can place a magic thread pillar.

You will find a magic thread pillar lying to the right side of the cube. Simply pick it up and place it in the spot that was revealed by the explosion. After that, fly along the magic thread to reach the next area.

After using the magic thread, head into the tunnel on your right. You will find an Exquisite Chest inside this short tunnel. But to open the chest, you will first need to defeat the enemies protecting it.

Once you are done with that, make your way outside the tunnel and use the stairs that you will find directly in front of you.

Second Dragon Encounter

At the end of the stairs, you will find a huge gate. And when you go through this gate, you will find the Evil Simulanka Dragon waiting for you.

The Evil Simulanka Dragon will throw obstacles at you. You need to avoid getting hit by those obstacles while moving forward towards the quest marker.

You will reach a place in which the Evil Simulanka Dragon will destroy the bridge. To get across, use the blue cube marked below. It will give you a jump boost to reach the upper platform.

Once you get across, place the magic thread pillar lying around in the spot marked below. And then fly along the magic thread.

After that, take the stairs and then go inside the mist on your left. This is where you will be encountering the Evil Simulanka Dragon for the third time.

Third Dragon Encounter

Once the cutscene is over, the Evil Simulanka Dragon will appear again and more angrier than before. This time he will be throwing a lot more obstacles at you. While avoiding them, follow the path marked in the image below to reach the platform with the quest marker.

On this platform, you will find a toy bomb which is shown below. Pick up this toy bomb.

After picking it up, throw it into the mouth of the Evil Simulanka Dragon. To throw it, hold the attack button. This will damage the Dragon and now you can move to the next platform.

On the next platform, your camera will change to a top down view. Obstacles will start spawning and move in specific directions. Your job here is to avoid getting hit by them. Once this is over, your camera will return to its normal view.

After that, simply head straight towards the quest marker. The path that you need to take is marked in the image below. The Evil Simulanka Dragon will try to stomp you so look out for these attacks as well.

Once you have taken the path mentioned above, you will reach the area shown below. You will find an Exquisite Chest here. Other than that, there are also toy soldiers that will give you healing so make sure to take that as well. After that, head forward towards the final boss fight.

Final Dragon Fight

Just like before, the Evil Simulanka Dragon will attack you by throwing obstacles at you and trying to stomp you. Move around to avoid these attacks. After a while, two more Dragons will appear and now all three of them will attack you.

But right at this moment, a toy bomb will also spawn on the right side of the platform you are fighting on. Pick up the toy bomb and throw it into the mouth of the dragon in the middle.

And that is it! After the explosion, the Evil Simulanka Dragon will be defeated and you will get an ending cutscene.
