With the latest chapter and season of Fortnite, a whole lot of new stuff has been added to the game, including an entirely unique map based around Japan and its rich culture. One of the new weapons added for this chapter is the Typhoon Blade, which is an amazing weapon with tons of utility. In this guide, we will be showing you how to get one!
How to Get the Typhoon Blade | Chapter 6 Season 1
Simply put, the Typhoon Blade is an epic item that can be found in several points of interest in the map. One example is the large building within the Warrior’s Watch zone. There, you might be able to find a Typhoon Blade floating above its stand.
I say “might” because these are, as you would expect, hot areas that are very likely going to be checked by other players as soon as they land. We also are not sure if they always show up in their static spawn locations.
Other points of interest we know of where you can potentially find one are in the following spots:
Out in the open in Masked Meadows, beside a small pond and statue
Aside from that, the Typhoon Blade can also be found as a dropfromrandom enemies or containers. Since it is an epicitem, getting it this way can be a bit unreliable. With that said, if you are lucky, you might not need to fight in heavily contested zones for one.
Not only does the Typhoon Blade have insanely large damage potential, but it also has various benefits that heavily improve your mobility. One passive it has is that it will make you consume less stamina whenever you sprint.
Your sprint speed will also be increased while you are using this blade. Some might even call it overpowered with how much it lets you zoom around and destroy other players with ease, especially since you can easily close gaps with the buffs it provides.
So yeah, the Typhoon Blade is basically just a powerful weapon that you can potentially find in almost any significant location in the new map. If you see someone else holding it in your match, make sure to keep your distance. Take them down and you can simply take their own blade for yourself!
