With the arrival of yet another new chapter and season of Fortnite comes thematically appropriate mechanics, such as the various ways you can pull of heists right now. In certain areas of the map, there are vaults that you can break into for a lot of good loot. In this guide, we will go over how to get the one at the Lonewolf Lair open.

How to Get into the Lonewolf Lair Vault

All around the map, particularly in a few notable points of interest, you will find vaults that have to be opened with the use of explosives. Among these locations is the Lonewolf Lair, which has a vault at the bottom floor just near the main entrance of the building.

In order to open this, you will need to find some thermite first. This explosive can be found just like any other bit of loot, so go ahead and open some containers or look around before you go in the building. You are bound to find one quickly, as they are pretty common.

Once you have it, approach the vault door and either place thermite when prompted or just step back and throw it at the door to start breaking into it. When you do, a timer will start, and waves of enemies will start trying to kill you.

All you need to do here is wait. While you are waiting, clear the waves so that you do not get overwhelmed before it opens. To speed up the process of breaking into the vault, you can shoot the glowing locks, which are referred to as its weak spots.

Once the timer is up, the vault door should now be open. Inside, you will find a lot of loot containers that you can check and hopefully get good stuff from. There will also be some Dill Bits inside, which is a new currency that you can spend at the black market.
