With the recent release of Fortnite’s Chapter 6 Season 1, players can now duke it out in an entirely new map that is very clearly inspired by Japan and its culture. With the change in scenery comes a whole plethora of new content to discover, and that includes a boss known as the Night Rose, which can be found in Demon’s Dojo. Here is a quick guide on how to fight it!
How to Defeat the Demon’s Dojo Boss (Night Rose)
The Demon’s Dojo can be found in the northeastern corner of the entire map for this chapter. Inside the main building, you will find a floating mask that is manipulating another NPC through puppet strings.
This is the Night Rose boss, and in order to initiate the fight, you just have to approach the circle. As soon as the encounter begins, the NPC under it will start shooting at you, and this is essentially the first phase of this very simple fight.
It is a fairly straightforward encounter. Just start shooting the Night Rose until she gets downed. You can use the walls and pillars all around the room and the entrance as cover, though she will run straight for you either way.
Once she has been knocked down, the Oni that is puppeteering the Night Rose will pick her back up and whisk her away. Now, the mask itself will fight you. Its eyes will start glowing red, and these are its weak spots.
During this phase, the Oni mask will start shooting flaming skulls at you. Again, use parts of the building as cover and you should be fine. Try your best to not get hit, as the flaming skulls deal massive damage if they hit you.
When botheyes have been destroyed, the mask will go dormant once more and the Night Rose herself will become active again. This is a repeat of the first phase, and you will be fighting her the same way you did earlier.
Phases one and two will loop over and over again until the health bar below your compass has gone down to zero. Once her health has been depleted, she will finally go down for good and drop a whole lot of items.
Her drops include the Night Rose Medallion, which will automatically reload the weapon that you are currently holding. Aside from that, you might get some decent weapons or a few supplies too.
That is pretty much everything you need to know in order to beat this new boss, which you might have even unintentionally fought immediately after dropping for the first time.
