The Japanese-themed Demon Hunters season of the latest chapter in Fortnite comes with a wide range of unique features all set in a brand new map. In this guide, we will be showing you how to open thevault within the Nightshift Forest region, which will contain a whole lot of useful items and possibly even one of the best weapons in the game right now!
Bushranger Mythic Key Vault Puzzle | Chapter 6
Before we get started, check out our guide on how to find the Bushranger NPC first so that you can get started with its mini quest. They spawn in a random spot, so you will just have to roam the Nightshift Forest area until you find them.
Once you have located the NPC in you match, your next task is to find a sprite. These little things can spawn randomly all over the map, and they can activate varying buffs when thrown or offered to shrines. However, we will need them intact for this process.
To help with your search, you might want to look for a Sprite Shrine first. They can be found in various locations around the map, though there might not be one within Nightshift Forest.
These shrines have a beam of light extending above them, making them easier to spot from a distance. When activated, it will highlight nearby sprites, if there are any close to you. This should make it easier to find them.
Once you have a sprite with you, regardless of the type, hand it over to the Bushranger and they will give you a Vault Key item. Congratulations, you now have everything you need in order to (hopefully) get some good loot.
Run over to the vault directly to the east of the large building within the central part of the Nightshift Forest area. It is impossible to miss, as it sticks out like a sore thumb on the map. Here is the exact spot:
When you get there, simply walk up to the vault door and interact with it in order to open it up. This will consume the Vault Key item and reveal a whole lot of chests and possibly even a Typhoon Blade spawn, assuming nobody has plundered this place before you.
That is pretty much all you need to know in order to do the Bushranger’s silly little “puzzle” of sorts. This might be highly contested due to all of the potential gear in the vault, so be ready for a fight if you ever want to attempt this in one of your matches.
