Fortnite v31.30 is now live, and the new update added the secret “Activate Rift Beacons for Peelverine” Found Quest for you to complete.
This quest is as simple as it sounds. You need to find Peelverine and help him out by activating a set of Rift Beacons. As usual with secret Found Quests, though, the trickiest part is finding Peelverine to begin with. But fret not, that’s what we’re here for!
In this guide, we’ll tell you everything you need to complete the “Activate Rift Beacons for Peelverine” quest.
Activate Rift Beacons for Peelverine | Secret Peelverine Found Quest
To start the “Activate Rift Beacons for Peelverine” found quest in Fortnite, you’ll need to head to the event timer west of Reckless Railways. The map above shows its exact location. Do be warned, though, that you’re likely to encounter a large concentration of players there! Players eager to meet Peelverine or check the event timer are both going to try to land there.
Once you land, look for Peelverine. He’ll be roaming around the event timer and won’t stay still. When you do find him, though, just talk to him and choose “Activate Rift Beacons for Peelverine” as a dialogue option to start the quest.
Now, you’ll need to activate 3 different Rift Beacons. There are 4 Rift Beacons near Peelverine, so it’s quite an easy task. If you don’t know what they look like, use the image above as a reference. They’re large red machines holding blue panels. When you see them, approach them and interact with them to initiate the activation sequence.
Additionally, you can also see the location of the Rift Beacons on your minimap. Just look for the diamond-shaped icons with exclamation signs, as shown above.
You will complete the “Activate Rift Beacons for Peelverine” found quest as soon as you activate 3 of the Rift Beacons, and the only real challenge is that you might need to fight other Fortnite players. As we mentioned before, the area is kind of a hotspot. As a silver lining, Rift Beacons can be activated by multiple players!
