You’ll be told to find a Screwdriver in the Basement during Night 1 in FNAF Into the Pit, being one of the main objectives of the story.

Oswald encountered a kid caught in a suit, and things are looking quite grim if you can’t help him out. Getting him out would be easy… if only you had a screwdriver to unscrew the suit!

Thankfully, you have us here to help you out. In this short guide, we’ll tell you everything you need to know to find the Screwdriver in Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria’s Basement!

How to Find the SCREWDRIVER in Basement | FNAF Into The Pit Guide

Dive into the Ball Pit

If you’re reading this, we’ll assume you already obtained the Key to the Basement from Jeff on Night 1. After all, that’s when you’ll get the objective to “Look for a Screwdriver in the Basement”. The trick here is that you need to check the basement in Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria, not in Jeff’s Pizza. That means you should first use the ball pit at Jeff’s Pizza to dive into the past.

Basement route

Once you exit into Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria, leave the ball pit room and then go all the way to your right until you reach the Basement. Follow the route on the map above and use the Key to the Basement to open the locked door on the way.

Screwdriver location

The Basement itself is extremely dark, but you don’t really need to use your flashlight. Simply go to the rightmost side of the room and inspect the back wall when prompted to. Oswald will grab the Screwdriver from the wall with no issues.

Helping the stuck kid

That’s all there is to know to find the Screwdriver in the basement in FNAF Into The Pit. Quickly return to the captured kid in the Dining Area and help him escape with the Screwdriver!

By the way, did you know you can actually get a bad ending at this point as well? You simply need to leave Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria!
