Enshrouded: How to Craft an Axe

Knowing how to craft an axe in Enshrouded can be the only way to get a big, bad weapon very early in the game. Surviving requires something that you can use to scare away enemies in a few swims; better if you actually destroy them.

Axes are easy to make, and you can craft one almost at the beginning of the game. We will tell you the crafting recipe and where to find some early-game ones.

How to Craft an Axe

Crafting an axe is very easy, and you only need to get:

• 4 twigs
• 1 stone
• 1 string

The string can be crafted in the crafting menu with 3 Fibers. We suggest you get all the Fiber you can get because you will need string for a lot of recipes.

Once you gather all the materials in your inventory, you can craft a Stone Axe. You should find it in the survival category. Axes cause a lot of damage and can be used for woodcutting.

Early-game axes

There is an early-game hatchet that you can retrieve if you want a slightly better weapon. Located left of the stating area, there is a cave.

Go in and walk straight until you find a blocked path. Destroy the blockage with bombs; if you don’t have any, you can find some nearby and open the path with them. Here, you will find a room with a chest where you can find a level 1 hatchet.

Axes are very popular weapons in RPGs and adventure games. You can use the ones available and do a very Viking- or Berserker-based build and live your best raiding life while you construct your new settlement.
