Runes are a very important item in Enshrouded. They are used for many things, some of which are very significant. You can use runes to upgrade your weapons and even reset your skill points.
You can find Runes in many different ways, but what are some of the more efficient ones?
We have written below a couple of the best ways to get your hands on the highest amount of Runes in the smallest amount of time.
Best Ways to Farm Runes
You can find runes by killing enemies, salvaging crafted items, andlooting areas around the world. All of these are discussed in more depth below.
1. Killing Enemies:
It’s not too hard to find enemies that drop runes. In fact, most of them are reliable sources of runes. If you can find an area with a decent number of enemies and go through them repeatedly, you’ll be swimming in runes.
One of these areas is highlighted in the map below. Clear out the enemies in this area and collect the runes from their corpses. Remember, this is not the only place in the game where you can farm runes, it’s just one of many.
Enemies only drop a handful of runes each, but repeat the process enough times and you’ll have more than enough runes.
Also, keep in mind that these enemies can respawn. Just quit to the menu and continue the game to keep farming. This will speed your farming up by a lot.
2. Salvaging Items:
Keep an eye on your inventory. If you see some crafted items that you aren’t using anymore and want to get rid of, you’re in luck. By salvaging them, you can get some free runes. This method isn’t as farmable as the first one, but it’s something to keep in mind for sure.
3. Collecting Lootables:
There are plenty of lootable and breakable items in Enshrouded. By breaking and looting any collectibles you come across, you can find a pretty healthy amount of Runes. This works best as a passive collection method.
While exploring the world as you play normally, just be sure to collect Runes. These Runes will add up to a hefty amount eventually.
These were some quick and easy ways to obtain runes in Enshrouded. Now you should be able to upgrade your weapons with the Blacksmith and reset your skill points.
