How to Choose Your Main Character in DNF Duel

Each of the characters has a unique play style, with some relying on storming in and dealing as much damage to the opposition as they can.

Others are employed to zone the opponents and exert as much control over the conflict as they can to win. It is advised that you choose a little tankier option if you are a new player in the game. This will help you survive fights for a lot longer and help you gain a feel for the game.

Choosing a Character

The 16 available characters are the following:

  • Striker: The Striker attacks quickly. Although she may appear to be very light and without any force behind those hits, you would be sorely mistaken. Her movements are as quick as lightning and pack a powerful hit. Her counter hits are capable of dealing massive damage. The striker’s strong attack should be used frequently when she is jumping. If you do play her, apply pressure and be mobile.
  • Grappler: Get as much of the game area as you can when playing with the Grappler. This implies that you will have to jump and use all of your might to approach your opponent. You have a variety of throwing and dunking techniques available to you, along with defensive techniques that can be utilized as a counterattack. He holds a considerable amount of weaponry. Aside from that, the Grappler has a ton of armor and resilience to damage.
  • Hitman: Tha Hitman plays with a Katana and an Uzi, which makes him a fascinating character. He attacks enemies with exceptionally long combinations, which will keep them on their side of the battlefield. Most of his hits cause a lot of damage. The trick is to wait for the enemy to approach you. Once they do, catch them with your long combo hits and the extremely wide range the Hitman can cover.
  • Berzerker: The Berzerker can change into a real-life demon. It’s out of this world to go for his Super. He can get into a frenzy similar to a D&D barbarian. He excels at maintaining pressure and performing a ton of skills that just could enrage opponents. You can surrender some of your HP in exchange for increased damage and speed. The Berzerker is very enjoyable to play due to his combos.
  • Ranger: The Ranger is the best choice if you want to keep yourself secure and in charge of the entire map. He specializes in skills that will push back enemy opponents and utilizes his ranged skills to keep the enemy at bay. The Ranger is a true zoner and a fascinating person. He can easily elude attacks thanks to his extensive dodge abilities. Just be cautious not to get caught.
  • Crusader: The Crusader is essentially slow, firm, and intense. Although he has very slow skills, this is a significant plus. In essence, you can blend in with these abilities and benefit from them. He is best known for his armor and protection. The Crusader is for you if you want to be the “big tanky guy”.
  • Troubleshooter: The Troubleshooter can buff with his drinks. He mainly focuses on his gun’s explosions. He can almost completely cover everything in front of him with his assaults. Hold your ground, strengthen yourself, and deal a ton of harm. The Troubleshooter also has many traps at his disposal.
  • Dragonknight: The Dragonknight is a hybrid pressure character. She moves extremely slowly and mainly utilizes the dragon in front of her. The Dragonknight has a few entertaining combos but nothing unique. Concentrate on employing the dragon to attack the opposition from behind.
  • Swift Master: The Swift Master can do a variety of special moves in the air and her elemental strikes can cover a lot of ground. She is known to be one of the characters that are difficult to fight against. If you make an effort to play her effectively, then simply devise some unique approach that nobody would anticipate, and you’ll win.
  • Kunoichi: The Kunoichi can maintain pressure while avoiding any potential hazard. She is very quick and lethal, pulling back when necessary only to reappear and strike you more forcefully. Her abilities, such as smoke bombs, etc., make her a very engaging character to play as.
  • Inquisitor: The Inquisitor is the Crusader’s evil side. Her blows are huge. Like, from one side of the map to the other, one attack can completely cover everything. The Inquisitor uses fire moves, and nearly all of her actions need Magic Points.
  • Vanguard: The Vanguard is remarkable just by how he is standing. With his hits and incredible combinations, he can deliver a ton of damage from a very long distance. The Vanguard consistently astounds everyone with his fantastic moves. He is extremely lethal and enjoyable to play as.
  • Launcher: The Launcher is pretty simple. All you do is jump and shoot from above. If explosions and guns interest you, this character is for you.
  • Lost Warrior: The Lost Warrior is the game’s unlocked. Nobody knows what his area of expertise is, but he is an average character who excels in practically everything. The Lost Warrior can consistently apply pressure while teleporting up, down, and left to right.
  • Ghostblade: The Ghostblade is a long-range character and is known for erratic strikes. Most of his strikes can appear out of nowhere, making him very fun to use. He can also summon a ghost to come in and attack enemies.
  • Enchantress: The Enchantress has a puppet that she uses to manipulate her enemies. If you are comfortable utilizing a puppet, this character is for you
