If you have been playing through the first couple hours of chapter 3, you are probably already wondering how to find some of the secret bosses. Well, you will need to get an S Rank to do so, and if you failed, you are in luck. Here is a quick guide on how to “cheat” the system.
DELTARUNE Chapter 3 – How to ALWAYS Get S Rank on Board 1
By now, you probably already got past the retro style adventure game section, so we will just skip right to what you have to do. Basically, you need to farm points by collecting coins in the cactus filled areas.
Keep going back and forth and let Susie collect all the coins on the ground. These little patches of grass respawn, so just move to the left and right area over and over again, exhausting all of the coins as much as you can.
Once you have around 1500 point, you can spend them at the NPC pictured below, who is highlighted with a green box. They will offer to give you an S Rank in exchange for those points.

This will add a piece of paper behind your head with a crudely drawn letter “S”, which you can use to get past the guard. Take note, doing this also consumes the “S”, so you can only use it once!
Supposedly, you can buy it again later on, but this will cost you the same number of points as before. We are still unsure about this, though, as even the most dedicated fans of the game are still in the process of discovering all its secrets.
That is pretty much all we know so far. Give it a bit more time, as the game has just released and everybody is still figuring out all of the little quirks and secrets that are hidden all throughout the game.
