Even though it might seem to be a useless item, finding it is a reward on its own due to how complex the secret is. In this guide, we’ll help you find this Egg with ease.
How To Get The Egg | DELTARUNE Chapter 3
Before we start, know that the minigames still need to be active to be able to get the Egg in this chapter. That means, don’t progress the story too far and also make sure to not have obtained the Shadow Mantle yet. If you don’t know how to get it, we have a guide with minimal spoilers on the matter. It should also help you avoid finding it too early!
Aside from that, you also need to complete all of the quizzes in the TV World area. Doing so will unlock the secret door shown above. Just go through it and watch the cutscenes until you can backtrack again.
When you can backtrack, return to the room with the X-to-O puzzle. This puzzle requires you to play as Lancer and turn all the Xs on the ground to Os, if you haven’t done so yet. You can find Lancer in one of the rooms, and grab his controller to unlock him as a selectable character in the minigame.

Either way, completing the minigame as Lancer will make a blue block appear. Switch to Susie and grab the block. Throw it to the rightmost part of the room, across the river. You need to make sure it lands between the plants there, as shown above.
Going Nowhere
Once you’ve done that, backtrack to the one “stealth” section in the Green Room area of the chapter. It’s the dark room with a spotlight protecting a chest. Get in the spotlight on purpose to get caught, then select “Cheater” and “Nowhere” in the dialogue.
Next, just go right to find another interactable console with a simple puzzle. Just put the blue block on the orange plate to reveal a bridge. Then, cross the bridge and step on the pink button to solve the puzzle and open another room.
Go to the freshly-opened room on the right next and you’ll find another big gaming TV. They sure love gaming in this chapter! You’ll also see an old man with a blue coat outside the TV, but you can’t get much out of him by talking to him there.
Instead, interact with the console to get in the game. Talk to the old man inside the game and exhaust his dialogue until he tells you to go right. Do as he says and go right in the game, then return to the old man.
When you return, a wardrobe will be near the old man. Interact with it to open it and check inside, although it’s empty.
After checking the wardrobe, just talk to the old man again and finish his dialogue again. He’ll tell you that you’ve had the ticket all along! Leave the minigame and check your inventory, you should now be in possession of the TripTicket.
Entering Mancountry
With the TripTicket in your possession, return to the Goulden Sam and go into the room with trash cans.
Walk through the room and one of the trash cans will trip over, revealing a Ribbick with a red aura. Approach it to start a fight!
Once in the fight itself, you need to select ACT on a Ribbick. You should now see the “CroakOnX” option, with the X being red. Hover over that option and then just hold the left direction key. The heart icon will just walk away, allowing you to escape the fight.
At long last, you’ll now be in the secret Egg room for Chapter 3 of DELTARUNE. Feel free to explore the area if you wish, but for the Egg you just need to go all the way up.
Eventually, you’ll reach a small room with a tree. Interact with the back of the tree and you’ll start talking to a man. He’ll start telling a story, then asks if you “will forget me too?”. Make sure to answer “No” to let him continue the story! Otherwise, the dialogue stops. The rest of the answers seem to not have an effect at all, however.
Listen to the full story from the man and he’ll reward you with the Egg. As for what to do with it this time? Well, it seems nobody has quite figured that part out yet! As far as we can tell, nobody knows where to place the Egg for Chapter 3 yet. Nonetheless, that’s all you need to do to get it.
