Nixi is one of the unlockable playable characters in Death Must Die. She’s fast, equipped with two blades and one of the best characters for getting through a complete run without dying!
This guide will break down the basics of Nixi’s gameplay as well as the advanced builds you can make that compliment her.
Complete Nixi Guide
The Basics
Nixi is an assassin class type. Unlike the other melee-based characters, this means that she is incredibly fast and can traverse the map with ease.
When playing as Nixi, you’ll want to really prioritize your movement. As such – picking up any blessings that increase movement speed as well as the dash ability will work well with her character.
With both of these upgraded, you’ll be dodging attacks and outrunning slimes easily!
She is a melee combatant with two knives and despite not having a longsword, her attack range is still relatively far-reaching. You can get in close to enemies to deal hits then quickly dash away to dodge enemy attacks.
It is worth noting the biggest downside to Nixi is her armor, since she can only equip light armor due to her speedy assassin build.
You’ll want to prioritize dodging enemy attacks since your health is a limiting factor.
Best Blessings For Nixi
Before choosing any blessings, one of the best signs you can assign Nixi is The Sign of The Viper. This will vastly increase your damage per second and is lethal when paired with your dash.
The best blessings for Nixi are the ones which lean into dodging your enemies and attacking from afar, relying on your knives to take down the stragglers.
The premise is you’ll want to pick up blessings from Mort the Goddess of Death that relate to Cursed damage.
Pick up Ravens of Pestilence and Soul Stealers for dealing ranged, cursed damage to your enemies. Then use mayhem to stack your cursed damage points.
Use these blessings for avoiding enemies as much as possible with your dash, then using your quick attacks to take down enemies and unleash cursed damage.
Gear
In regard to the best gear for Nixi, you want to be prioritizing your evasion! If you can stack up to 360 points of evasion through your gear, you’ll have a 70% chance to evade incoming attacks making a successful run super easy!
As such, pick up helms, boots, light armour and relics that 70+ evasion points each to total up 360. If you reach this high, you will even be able to unlock an achievement!
Remember the speed to playing Nixi is speed, so any gear that is going to simply slow you down is not worth assigning to her!
