The Mighty Miner is a quite interesting character, that can deal some massive damage when used correctly. However, he does have a few weaknesses. So, let’s look at how you can best use him and what do you need to avoid.

How to Use Mighty Miner in Clash Royale

Mighty Miner walks around the battlefield slowly and deals continuous damage to everything his drill touches. He has a special ability called Explosive Escape, which allows him to change his position and drop a bomb onto the position he was originally in. He costs 4 elixirs to use, while his special ability consumes an additional 2.

Mighty Miner is effective against tanks, such as Royal Giants and the Mega Knights. He has more health than other units like that, so he can be deployed into more dangerous territories. His Explosive Escape ability also increases his survivability. He’s also great at defending bridges and split-lane pushes and pairs well with the Graveyard and Goblin Barrel Cards.

The Weaknesses of Mighty Miner

Outside of his special ability, Mighty Miner cannot deal any area damage, so he’s not the best at fighting groups of enemies. Ranged Tank Killer units pose a significant thread to the Miner, so try to avoid those.

Also, stuns and knockbacks can reset his progress, so be mindful of that. Most importantly, a Mighty Miner without his Explosive Escape can be easy to kill by swarms and high numbers of melee units.
