This isn’t the only puzzle in the game that’s related to pictures, either. As such, its solution somewhat relies on another puzzle, too. But, of course, the game only cares about you inputting the right code at the right place. It doesn’t have any way to confirm that you actually solved the entire puzzle! Quite convenient, right?
Read on and we’ll tell you how to solve this puzzle as well as give you the code if you wish to skip it!
Drawing Room Secret Safe Code Solution | Blue Prince
First of all, the puzzle in the Drawing Room is part of the “picture puzzles” in the game. That means it calls back to the Study’s chalkboard puzzle as a basis. If you’ve yet to do that puzzle, or just have forgotten, that puzzle’s solution said the following:

In the case of the Drawing Room, the text itself requires you to think of homophones. Instead of “small gates” you have to look for “small gaits.” What that means is that you need to look for pictures in the Drawing Room that show people taking short steps.
If you don’t feel like counting or just want the solution… there are 4 pictures of a woman taking short steps and 15 pictures of a man with an umbrella taking small steps. Put those together in that order and you’ll get 0415. That’s the code to the safe!
To reach the safe itself, look for the chimney in the room. Interact with the leftmost candelabra above the chimney to reveal a secret compartment with the safe. It was hidden behind the painting of a woman, which is also a hint that the count of women goes first.
Anyway, all that’s left for you to do now is to input the code into the safe. Remember, it’s 0415.
The safe will open and allow you to collect 1 Gem. You’ll also be able to read Red Letter Six there. Take note of its contents.
