50 articlesWhen you reach Process II of Chapter 1 in Arknights Endfield, you’ll receive a bunch of quests. One of these is Paving The Way which is quite a long quest and will have you mining and crafting parts. During this quest, there’s a confusing part where you have to place Amethyst Ore.
I also spent a bit of time running around trying to figure out how to do it before realizing how simple it was. So I’ll also show you exactly how you can do it.
Place the Amethyst Ore Moved to the Depot in the Backpack
To place the Amethyst Core that you moved to the Depot, you need to first enter the Depot area in the Core AIC Area. You can find the symbol for it easily on your map.
Once you enter the area, select the Backpack icon to open your Backpack like you normally do. Now, you’ll be able to access both the contents of the Depot and the Backpack.

From here, just transfer the x50 Amethyst Ore that you need into your Backpack. From here, you can move onto the next objective of giving it to Andre.
Keep in mind that you need to be in the Depot area to do it, defined by the boundaries. Otherwise, you’ll only open the Backpack and won’t be able to do anything with the Depot.

It does get a bit confusing throughout the quest because the game does not always explain the mechanics properly. But all you need to do is get into the right area to access the Depot inventory and you can shift the ore.
