Cryston Component is a material you’ll need to learn to craft to make high-tier gear in Arknights: Endfield.
This material unlocks relatively far into the game, and it requires quite a process to make. Still, it’s fairly useful, as you can use it to make Lv. 50 pieces of equipment for your Endmin and Operators!
In this guide, I’ll tell you everything you need to make Cryston Component as easily as possible.
How to Get Everything Required to Craft Cryston Component

There are many things required to craft Cryston Component, but the first of them all is to have unlocked the Power Plateau region. We have a guide going into more detail on how to do that.
The gist of it, though, is that you need to reach Authority Level 34 and complete the “Eve of Battle” main story quest. That will give you access to the Power Plateau.

This is important because you can find Sandleaf plants here. This is the only region in all of Valley IV where you can find Sandleaf plants, in fact! For exact locations, check out our Sandleaf locations guide.

At this point, you’ll also need to advance your AIC Plan thoroughly. You need to reach the Grinding node in the Processing category at the Basic AIC III tier.
Not only will this unlock the necessary Grinding Unit facilities, but it will also unlock the Planting node in the process. That will give you the facilities to infinitely create Sandleaf plants.
Also, make sure to complete the Grinding Unit’s Simulation tutorial. It’s not really mandatory, but it will teach you the basics of how these Grinding Units work.
Got everything you need now? Let’s go over the process itself.
How to Craft the Cryston Component Itself

To make Cryston Components, the gist of it is that you need to input 10 Cryston Fiber and 10 Packed Origocrust into a Gearing Unit. Doing so will yield 1 Cryston Component at a rate of 1 per minute.
To get those materials, though, you’ll need to follow a long series of processing steps. To make things easier for you, I highly recommend just following the Production Chain shown above.
You’ll start with Sandleaf, Originium, and Amethyst. Process them all as shown in the Production Chain, and you’ll make the Cryston Fiber and Packed Origocrust. Then, turn those into Cryston Components at a Gearing Unit.
The most important thing here is to create an infinite supply of Sandleaf, as that’s the biggest bottleneck in the process. For that, follow the example shown above.
Have 1 Seeding Unit and 1 Planting Unit. The Seeding Unit should feed the Planting Unit, then the Planting Unit should feed back to the Seeding Unit with 1 belt. Another belt should feed the PAC Depot or a Shredding Unit.
This will create a feedback loop that results in you obtaining an infinite supply of Sandleaf. No need to go look for them again!
If you want to make things even simpler, I highly advise using the community’s AIC Blueprint website. It has dozens of preset Cryston Component factories, which you can copy by using the Blueprint system.
This greatly simplifies the entire setup process, as you just need to have the relevant facilities. No need to do it all manually, just use those Blueprint codes.
With that in mind, you should now have everything you need to craft Cryston Component in Arknights: Endfield. Time to produce some for high-tier gear, Endmin.
