ARK Fjordur: Where to Find Sulfur and Congealed Gas Balls

Congealed Gas Balls are one of the main materials you need to craft a fall Hazard Suit set. On the other hand, Sulfur is an important resource for Propellant, Preserving Salt, and Flamethrower. It’s also the preferred food of a Rock Elemental.

The good thing about these two resources is that you can find them in a single location. So if you want to farm either of the two, then I’ll show you where to head over to.

Where to Find Sulfur and Congealed Gas Balls in ARK Fjordur

Before anything else, it’s worth noting that you can’t actually harvest Congealed Gas Balls. Instead, you have to farm Condensed Gas which you then refine in a forge to produce Congealed Gas Balls. That said, you can find lots of Condensed Gas on the Balheimr Sulfur Pools on coordinates 72.0, 94.5.

This area is located on the southeastern part of the map, which is the volcano biome. Also, this is where you can farm lots of Sulfur as well. All you need to do is mine the yellow rock formations using a pickaxe. You can easily harvest hundreds of sulfur this way. Meanwhile, Condensed Gas won’t be as frequent as that of Sulfur.

Still, you should be able to farm a decent enough amount. Since the ratio of Condensed Gas to Congealed Gas Balls is 1:1, you should be able to craft a Hazard Suit set as quickly as possible.
