162 articles“Digging Up Dirt” is one of the early quests in ARC Raiders. However, this mission can still confuse a lot of players due to its misleading description of the “courtyard.”
To be specific, the quest will have you visiting the Santa Maria Houses in Old Town, Buried City. Here, Celeste will task you with locating a hidden dead drop connected to Toledo Tubes Management activity. While you can easily find the area, the hard part is actually getting inside the correct building.

The quest requires you to do only two objectives on the Buried City map. All you need to do is:

Unlike most quests in ARC Raiders, this one completes immediately as soon as you interact with the dead drop. No need to extract in order for the mission to count. Due to this, you can bring a free loadout or a cheap gear setup if your goal is to complete the quest.
That said, completing it gives you 2x Advanced Electrical Components and 4x Speaker Components.
Locating the Santa Maria Houses Dead Drop
To get started, head to the right location, which is the Santa Maria Houses on the Buried City map.
Now, your immediate problem is getting inside. Previously, you could easily get inside by opening the window on the outside. However, this has been patched and is no longer possible. Instead, you need to make your way to the rooftops.
Follow the path in the video shown below and reach the roof. Here, you’ll find an open hatch that you can easily jump down.
After entering via the roof, you’ll find a zipline. Use it to go down, but be careful, as there is an ARC Turret and Fireball. After destroying them, proceed to the middle of the building. This will lead you to a courtyard where you can jump down.
Go to the middle and interact with the buried fountain there to grab the dead drop. Doing so will complete the last objective and the Digging Up Dirt quest in ARC Raiders.
You might be a little confused here about how you can exit the area. You can do this easily by interacting with the nearby window that will lead you straight outside.
