Wuthering Waves is an open world Gacha RPG that features a lot of awesome looking characters. The game was released not too long ago on platforms like PC, Android and iOS.

The developers recently announced the arrival of Update 1.1 of Wuthering Waves and it is going to be a major update. It will add a lot of new content for players to explore and also new characters to get. This guide will give you tips which will prepare you for the update so when it officially rolls out, you will be ready.

5 Tips To Make You Ready For Update 1.1

The update will be dropping pretty soon so without wasting any time, let’s dive right into the topic.

Tip #1 – Save Up Echoes

In the upcoming update, the Data Bank max level will be increased to 21 and once you reach that level, all the Echoes that you get will be guaranteed to have 5-Star Rarity.

So, to take full advantage of this, I suggest you start hoarding up as many Echoes as you can. When you get your Data Bank to level 21 and the update rolls out, you will have plenty of Echoes to get you some 5-Star Rarity ones.

To sum up, level up your Data Bank as quickly as you can, and also try not to invest in Echoes, except if they’re 5-star rarity.

Tip #2 – Complete All Previous Quests

As I mentioned earlier, this update will add a lot of new content to the game. This also means a whole lot of new quests and stories to experience. But you can not experience these new quests and stories until you have completed all your previous quests.

Which is why I recommend that you focus on your Companion Stories and Side Quests. Completing them will also reward you with a lot of stuff such as Astrite and Union EXP which are very important in the game.

Tip #3 – Save Up Astrite

As you are probably aware, Astrite is the in-game premium currency. It is required for a lot of good stuff in the game. The new update will be adding new characters to the game such as Changli and Jinhsi. So, one of the most important tips I can give you right now is to save up your Astrite for the upcoming update.

If you are a F2P, there’s a limited amount of Astrite you can get in the game for free (and it is not that much). Which makes it even more important for you to save up your precious Astrite for the update.

Tip #4 – Oscillated Coral

With each new patch update, the items you find in the Oscillated Coral are replenished. What this means is that items that are currently available there will be gone forever after the update comes out. So make sure you check it out and get what you need before it’s too late.

Tip #5 – Depths of Illusive Realm + Tower of Adversity

The Depths of Illusive Realm will be replaced with something else when the new update comes out. And it is currently one of the best ways through which you can get a decent amount of rewards. I recommend you try to complete this as much as possible in the time you have before it is gone.

The same is the case with Tower of Adversity. However, completing this and getting all the starts here will be a bit harder. But you should still get this done as much as possible. It has pretty good rewards for you to get so do not leave it out entirely.
