If you are by any chance confused with the name Minecraft Wynncraft, allow us to shed some light on the topic. Minecraft, as you probably know, is one of the most popular games ever created. That said, the Minecraft community often decides to go out of their way to mod the game to become even better.
This is exactly what Jumla, Salted, and Grian have done. These 3 individuals created a specially designed Minecraft server known as Wynncraft. In this Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game or short MMORPG, you choose 1 of 5 classes to start your unforgettable journey on this server.
The classes are as follows: Archer, Assassin, Mage, Shaman, and Warrior. The game itself revolves around completing many different quests and objectives, defeating tricky and powerful bosses, and most importantly, joining guilds with other players. As a testament to its success and longevity, bear in mind that the server was created in 2013.
In 2021 alone, however, it numbered approx. 2.9 million players making it one of the most popular Minecraft servers out there. Worth checking out! That said, today we’ll give you the top 10 Minecraft Wynncraft tips to get you started on this very special server! Let’s get to it.
Pick any Class
Starting from tip number 1, choosing classes. While it may seem like something that will be of immense importance depending on what you want to do, choosing classes is fairly simple. As aforementioned, there are 5 classes; Archer, Assassin, Mage, Shaman, and Warrior. Pick any class whatsoever.
The reason for this is the fact that you can create multiple classes to try all of them. This will allow you to figure out which class suits you best and which class you want to focus on. Smart stuff from the devs!
Try everything
While the server has 1 main questline, there is a bunch of other content for you to explore. In between quests, you can loot special items, explore dungeons, and perform raids to gain XP and level up. The higher your level, the more powerful you will become.
Staying focused on the main quest alone will mean that you miss out on a lot of other content the devs have in store for you. Be sure to check every corner of the server to uncover lore secrets!
Professions
One of the most useful tips we came across while researching this topic has a lot to do with different professions. Don’t be afraid of grinding for extra bonuses, XP, and gear.
While it may seem like tiresome work, professions are there to serve a purpose and they should be tried out!
You Died
Dying in Wynncraft is not a big deal. While some players get very dramatic about it, dying, contrary to popular belief, is perfectly fine.
Do keep an eye on the number of souls you have. If you have 6 or fewer, you are at risk of losing valuable gear!
Loot, LOOT, LOOOOOOOT!
Always loot. That’s the tip…
All jokes aside, to be successful in Wynncraft, you have to constantly be on the lookout for chests and valuable loot contained within. As this is your main source of gear such as armor and weapons, it is of the utmost importance to try and find as many of these as possible.
Sell
When your inventory gets full, sell the trash! It is not a question of if but when. Your inventory will eventually get filled up with a bunch of items. Those you don’t need, you should sell. Either to blacksmiths or other players, sell as much as you can.
Party Finder
If you want to play with someone but don’t have anyone interested. Don’t worry. The server has an option to find similar players such as yourself allowing you to team up and explore the world of Wynncraft together.
Simply use the /party finder command prompt where you can create or find public parties.
Explore
When it comes to Wynncraft, exploration is everything. The map of Wynncraft is enormous and it will take you hours of game time to see everything. As you stumble across towns, villages, dungeons, and other locations, you will come across chests, objectives, quests, etc.
These will all add to the unique experience that Wynncraft offers.
Mounts
Continuing with the topic of exploration now, mounts are a great way to speed things up a bit. Using a horse is a great way of getting around quickly, saving time and allowing for faster progression.
Bonus tip: at level 13 you will have a special quest after which you will be rewarded with a special mount!
Commands
While they are rare, bugs happen. If you happen to be stuck, a quest isn’t loading and you simply cannot progress further, use the command prompts to easily resolve these. Some useful command prompts are listed below:
/kill – reset your location
/class – reload the area and the quest that goes with it
