There are various ways to improve your character in Dynasty Warriors: Origins, the latest installment in the long running, genre defining musou game franchise. Among them is through crafting and upgrading gems, and in order to do so, you will need a lot of pyroxene. This guide will be showing you how to get a lot of them quickly and with very little effort!
How to Farm Pyroxene Quickly
Gems are essential if you want to make your character even more powerful, and you will need a lot of a resource known as pyroxene in order to do this. These gems give you various buffs, such as higher conditional damage or stuff like bonus range and health regen.
Pyroxene actually spawns all around the world, and they look like glimmering spiky orange crystals on the overworld. All you need to do is run towards them and take them. Simple as that.
To start farming up a large stock of this resource, you should finish the first chapter to unlock more of the overworld map. Once you finish the initial chapter and claim your free horse, you are all set to start gathering a ton of pyroxene.
All you need to do is run back and forth between the Ji Province and You Province to get pyroxene crystal deposits to start spawning all over the map. Check the highlighted parts of the minimap in the image below for reference.
That is really all there is to it. You just need to keep running from one edge to the other, and pyroxene nodes should keep spawning in the provinces of Ji and You. Each node will get you a single piece, but they add up quickly with how short the path is.
We have no idea how exactly their spawn mechanics work, so this might work with other zones as well. This just happens to be the earliest instance where you can farm pyroxene this way. Now get out there and start farming up these resources to give you character a massive boost right off the bat!
Franco is a writer and avid gamer who spends a lot of his free time looking for the next obscure indie roguelike to add to his collection. If he’s not busy working or writing on his personal blog, there’s also a non-zero chance that you stumble into him in pretty much any multiplayer game that has SEA or OCE servers. He’s pretty good at anything unless it’s a fighting game, in which case you’d probably body him.
