Fortnite has just released some really old skins from back when the game first launched its battle royale mode. A lot of OGs will remember how this game branched out from initially being a tower defense game, and skins from the old days have become rare commodities, at least until now. In this guide, we will share with you some tips on how to get it as fast as possible!
How to Unlock the OG Renegade Raider Outfit
In order to get this outfit, you only need to have 1,200 VBucks and also gather enough experience to unlock it for purchase. You will have to reach a total of 1,500,000 XP to become eligible for it.
This may seem like a heavy undertaking depending on what game modes you like to play, but there are definitely ways to cheese this process and make it much faster. Forget the normal battle royale modes, OG and otherwise, as they give very little XP for the time they take to play.
Instead, play stuff like Lego Brick Life or Lego Fortnite Odyssey and just keep it running for a few hours. You will be racking up thousands of XP with very little effort this way. For Lego Fortnite Odyssey, you do not even need to really play it. Just move your character every 10 minutes or so to keep the game running.
Another method you can try is to simply play some community-made creative maps. A lot of them, for some reason, can pump out thousands or even millions of XP in no time. This is likely due to them being bugged, and not every community map will do this.
Save the World is also another mode you can try out. Many players have reported earning around 400k to 500k XP every couple of hours playing that particular mode. You can kind of AFK it if you really want to, but if you enjoy playing Save the World, then even better.
That is really all you need to know in order to unlock this outfit, as well as all the other rewards in the OG season shop. Just start grinding as soon as you read this, and you should be able to get it within a day or two!
Franco is a writer and avid gamer who spends a lot of his free time looking for the next obscure indie roguelike to add to his collection. If he’s not busy working or writing on his personal blog, there’s also a non-zero chance that you stumble into him in pretty much any multiplayer game that has SEA or OCE servers. He’s pretty good at anything unless it’s a fighting game, in which case you’d probably body him.
