AndrésIf you want to truly squeeze all that Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has to offer, you’re most likely wondering how to get every achievement in the game.
While the bulk of achievements is as simple as just completing the Campaign and Operations Mode, there are some tricky missable achievements as well. Top it all off with some grindy kill-count achievements and you’re looking at about 50 hours of playtime to do it all!
If that sounds like a good time to you, read on and we’ll help you get every single achievement in Space Marine 2.
How To Get All Achievement Complete Guide
Unmissable Completion Achievements
To begin with, let’s give you a full list of every achievement you will get as you complete all of the Campaign missions and Operations in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. These achievements are unmissable, so you will get them as you simply progress through the game:
- Campaign
- The Die Is Cast – Rise as a Primaris. (Mission: Skyfire)
- Unleash the Cannon – Destroy the hive ship with the power of anti-aircraft batteries. (Mission:
- Chaos All Along – Discover the Chaos presence on Kadaku. (Mission: Severance)
- Target Acquired – Ascertain the location of Morias Leuze. (Mission: Machinus Divinitus)
- Vital Asset – Rescue Morias Leuze from the Chaos assault. (Mission: Servant of the Machine)
- Enemy Revealed – Defeat the Chaos sorcerer. (Mission: Voidsong)
- Why Is It Always You Three? – Hear all of the Chaplain’s dialogues. He’ll talk to you automatically when you return to the Battle Barge between missions.
- Into the Abyss – Withstand and overcome the Chaos invasion. (Mission: Dawn’s Retreat)
- I’ll Be Watching You – Defeat the Lord of Change and face a figure from the past. You’ll get this when you beat the Campaign.
- Operation Mode
- Crude but Effective – Deploy a bomb in the promethium well to destroy the Tyranid swarm. (Operation: Inferno)
- Sic Semper Tyrannis – Kill the Hive Tyrant. (Operation: Decapitation)
- Voice in the Dark – Eliminate the Daemonhost and restore vox communication. (Operation: Vox Liberatis)
- Douse the Flames – Destroy the Chaos warp beacon. (Operation: Reliquary)
- Resurrection – Reanimate The Sword of Atreus. (Operation: Fall of Atreus)
- Outbound Payload – Deliver a nova cannon warhead to the Tyranid position. (Operation: Ballistic Engine)
Missable Achievements
Next up, let’s go over every missable achievement that you can get as you play through all of the Campaign missions and Operations in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. You can freely replay any mission if you miss any of them, but we recommend trying to keep track of them to speed things up!
- Data Mining – Collect all Dataslates. Dataslates are audio logs hidden throughout the entirety of the Campaign and Operation Mode. There are 35 in total, and you can check your progress from the Dataslate Repository in the Battle Barge. Make sure to check out our guide on all Dataslate locations in the game.
- One Ugly Xenos – Bring down a Lictor before it attacks from an ambush. Doable when you first encounter a Lictor as a boss during Mission: Severance. You need to shoot the Lictor while it hides in the vegetation before it jumps at you. You can reload the checkpoint to try again as many times as you need.
- My Face Is My Shield – Hit 10 objects during the sub-orbital drop. Fly into 10 different pieces of floating debris as you descend to the planet at the start of Mission: Dawn’s Retreat.
Missable Achievements Continued
- Break of Dawn – Discover the true nature of the Aurora device. This unlocks during the cutscenes leading to Operation: Reliquary on planet Demerium. You get the achievement during a cutscene, so make sure to avoid skipping cutscenes to get it.
- Know No Fear – Break a Scarab Occult Terminator’s melee combo attack with 2 perfect parries in a row. Scarab Occult Terminators only appear during Mission: Dawn’s Descent. They attack as soon as you parry one of their attacks, so be ready to parry the follow-up quickly for the achievement.
- Purge Them All – Mark every enemy type. You can mark enemies by pressing T (Keyboard and Mouse) or Up on the D-Pad (Controllers) while aiming. They’ll light up in red when you successfully mark them. Most importantly for this achievement, make sure to mark every boss as you encounter them throughout the Campaign missions. Aside from those, though, every enemy appears randomly across Operations.
Operations Mode | Leveling and Kills
Next up, let’s take a look at all of the possible achievement unlocks for the Operations Mode in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. This is a PvE mode where you get to play as a customizable Space Marine taking on repeatable missions. You can play either solo with AI companions or multiplayer, but we recommend multiplayer the most.
- Strategic Specialty – Reach the maximum Level for one Class. You’ll gain experience for your Class by simply completing Operations or Eternal War matches. However, progression is separate between both modes. You’ll need to beat a Ruthless difficulty Operation for another achievement, so we recommend focusing on Operations. Other than that, we also recommend focusing on a single Class until you reach level 25.
- Sharpest Edge – Reach the maximum Level for one Melee Weapon. Just like the Class leveling, you can do this in either Operations or Eternal War but progression is separate. As such, we recommend getting this through Operations. Upgrade a weapon to Relic by using Armoury Data and then use it to get experience until you max it out.
- Strongest Shot – Reach the maximum Level for one Ranged Weapon. Same deal as “Sharpest Edge” above.
- Bespoke – Customise a full Armour set for one Class. Simply complete Operations and Eternal War matches with a Class to unlock Armour cosmetics for them. Equip a full set of unlocked cosmetics for the achievement.
Operations Mode | Miscellaneous
- Valour Crest – Complete any Mission in Operations mode on Ruthless Threat Level. We recommend saving this for when you have a max level Class and a solid build, like our max level Assault build. It’s also heavily recommended to do this with other players, as the AI allies you get as a solo player stay at level 1. If you can only play single-player, the Tactical Class should be the easiest to succeed with. Either way, Operation: Ballistic Engine should be the easiest mission for this achievement.
- Principia Imperialis – Find [200] pickups in Operations mode. You’ll find pickups all over the place as you go through Operations, either dropped by enemies or from breaking crates. You’re almost guaranteed to get this naturally as you work toward max level.
- Xenos Exterminator – Kill [1,000] Tyranids in Operations mode. Tyranids appear in the following Operations: Inferno, Decapitation, and Vox Liberatis.
- The Thousand Dead Sons – Kill [1,000] Chaos servants in Operations mode. Chaos servants only appear in the following Operations: Reliquary, Fall of Atreus, and Ballistic Engine.
Eternal War
While Operations Mode might make the bulk of all the online content in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, you’ll also need to dabble in the Eternal War multiplayer mode to get every achievement. This is a PvP mode using the same customizable Space Marine Classes from Operations. However, progress is separate and you’ll be fighting against other players!
- Glorious – Victory Win any match in Eternal War mode.
- Tactical Genius – Win a match in Eternal War mode with every Class.
- War Machine – Play [10] Annihilation matches in Eternal War mode.
- Unwavering Faith – Play [10] Capture and Control matches in Eternal War mode.
- Dominator – Play [10] Seize Ground matches in Eternal War mode.
- Merciless – Achieve a streak of [5] kills without dying in Eternal War mode. This one can be tough, depending on how strong the enemy players are. Use whichever Class you personally feel most comfortable with and try to be extra careful.
Class-Specific Achievements
Next up for multiplayer, here’s every Class-specific achievement you can get as you play through all the online content in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. We recommend doing these in Operations Mode, as you’ll get to kill more enemies there.
- Master of Arsenal – As a Tactical, kill [25] enemies with every available Primary Weapon. The Tactical has access to the following Primary Weapons: Bolt Rifle, Auto Bolt Rifle, Heavy Bolt Rifle, Bolt Carbine, Marksman Bolt Carbine, Melta Rifle, Stalker Bolt Rifle, and Plasma Incinerator. Get 25 kills with each one for the achievement.
- Dead Center – As a Sniper, make [250] Headshots. Pretty straightforward, just aim for the head when shooting your enemies. Non-fatal headshots should also count towards the achievement.
- Immovable Object – As a Heavy, kill [500] enemies while in Heavy Stance. Use the Heavy’s Iron Halo ability to enter Heavy Stance while the Iron Halo is active. Get 500 kills while in this stance to unlock the achievement.
- Thunderous Impact – As an Assault, hit [500] total enemies with Ground Pound. You can perform Ground Pounds by landing when using the Assault’s Jump Pack ability. The Thunder Hammer should make your Ground Pounds most effective, making it easier to achieve 500 total hits. Note that you don’t need 500 kills, just hitting enemies.
- Guardian’s Might – As a Bulwark, kill [100] enemies with every available Melee Weapon. Similar to the Tactical Class achievement. The Bulwark has access to the following Melee Weapons: Chainsword, Power Fist, and Power Sword. Get 100 kills with each weapon to unlock the achievement.
- Lightning Strike – As a Vanguard, perform [100] Gun Strikes. You can perform a Gun Strike by hipfiring enemies after melee attacks. Simply do 100 Gun Strikes to get the achievement, the Gun Strike doesn’t need to kill the enemies.
Miscellaneous Achievements
Last but not least, here’s every miscellaneous achievement you can unlock by playing in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. Most of these will come naturally through you as you complete the rest of the achievement list, so you shouldn’t have to focus on them.
- The Art of Dismemberment – Perform [50] unique Finishers. Finishers are the executions you get to perform on weakened enemies across the game. You’ll get this naturally as there are over a hundred different Finishers, just make sure to use different weapons every now and then.
- Furious Retribution – Kill [100] enemies using Righteous Fury. Righteous Fury is Titus’ Ability, so you’ll need to do this through the Campaign missions. Any kills done while buffed by the ability’s effect will count.
- Unhand My Brother! – Force a Ravener to release a grabbed Squad Member. You can get this by rescuing both NPCs or other players when they get grabbed by Raveners. You need to hit them with a melee attack when prompted, though, shooting them doesn’t count.
- An End to Heresy – Kill a Lesser Sorcerer while he’s reviving a Rubric Marine. Lesser Sorcerers and Rubric Marines only appear during Mission: Dawn’s Descent and Operation: Reliquary.
- Field of Battle – Kill [100] enemies using environmental hazards. There are multiple environmental hazards you can use to your advantage throughout the game, but explosive barrels are the most common.
Miscellaneous Achievements Continued
- Silence – Kill [5] enemies while they are conducting a Call for Reinforcements. You can recognize a Call for Reinforcements thanks to the skull icon on top of enemies. Simply kill them before they can finish the call.
- A Blight to Be Purged – Kill [20,000] enemies (all game modes combined). See “Still a True Son of the Emperor” below.
- Still a True Son of the Emperor – Kill [41,000] Enemies (all game modes combined). We recommend leaving this for last, as you’ll get at least half the kills required by just grinding everything else out. If this is your only remaining achievement, we recommend playing Mission: Skyfire. Once you encounter the first horde and get tasked with entering an elevator, stand your ground. Enemies will spawn endlessly as long as you don’t enter the elevator, making it a perfect grinding spot.
- Defender of Humanity – Overcome every challenge and achieve ultimate victory. The Platinum Trophy equivalent, you’ll get this once you get every other achievement.
At long last, you now know all of the tasks you need to do to get every achievement in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2! It’s a lot, but we’re sure a Space Marine like you won’t have too much trouble completing this list of tasks for the Imperium.
Venezuelan gamer cursed by being interested by most games, resulting in a ridiculous backlog he’ll never be able to conquer. Been gaming for over two decades now! Few things exemplify his wide variety in gaming tastes as the fact that he’s a big fan of both Souls games and the Atelier series at the same time. Also a big fan of Yakuza/Like a Dragon, Deadly Premonition, Zero Escape, and Dead Rising, among others. Considers Lost Judgment and Sekiro to both be masterpieces.
