Like most games out there, you will naturally level up in Space Marine 2 by playing the game and completing Operation. That said, there are ways in which you can maximize the XP you gain and reach a class’s maximum level much quicker.
So in this guide, we will be looking at what you can do to gain tons of XP and reach the max level in no time at all.
How To Level Up Fast & Max Level Your Class Guide
In the Operations game mode, you will get XP whenever you complete an Operation. You can see how much XP you will get from an Operation before you actually start it. There are also 4 different difficulties and the XP you get from an Operation will depend on which difficulty you choose. Higher difficulties will reward you with higher XP.
The best way to earn a lot of XP early is by playing one of the easier difficulties. Lower difficulties like Minimal or Average will help you clear an Operation much quicker, so you can do a lot more Operations this way. Additionally, XP in this game mode is rewarded when you complete an Operation. Playing at an easier difficulty gives you a better chance of completing an Operation.

The better gear you get along the way will now make these difficulties much easier, allowing you to clear the higher-difficulty Operations much quicker. Of course, if you feel you are taking too long to complete an Operation on Substantial or Ruthless, switch back over to the Minimal or Average difficulties.
When playing through an Operation, you don’t actually have to clear all of the enemies you encounter. The best way to play through Operations very quickly is by skipping to the end and ignoring most enemies. You get a bit of XP for killing enemies, but the time you spend doing it is not worth it at all.
Weapon XP and Upgrades
In addition to XP, Operations are the main way to get Armory Data. Armory Data is a valuable upgrade material that will let you upgrade your weapons. All of the weapons in Space Marine 2 have 4 different types of variants that you can unlock to upgrade a weapon.
- Standard: Base Weapon
- Master–Crafted
- Artificer
- Relic
You can unlock upgrade materials for Master-Crafted variants through the Minimal or Average difficulties, but for the Artificer and Relic variants, you will need to play on 1 of the 2 harder difficulties. Artificer variants can be unlocked on the Substantial difficulty and Relic on Ruthless.
