Janky recently moved to Gundargaz and he’s in the process of setting up his very own shop, Janky Candles. But he can’t just make candles outta any basic wax! He wants to get the best wax to make the best candles.
In this guide, we’ll tell you how to complete the “New Home, New Candle” quest to help Janky work toward running his own candle shop.
New Home New Candle Quest Guide | WoW: The War Within
“New Home, New Candle” is part of the “Kobold Culture and Integration” quest line in WoW: The War Within. To start it, you have to meet Janky at Gundargaz, in The Ringing Deeps region of Khaz Algar. His coordinates are 47.78 and 35.38.
Janky has heard of some giant fire bees on the surface and he wants to go find them and collect their beeswax. Accept to help him find them to start the quest.
After starting the quest, you’ll need to travel to the Pillarstone elevator southeast of Gundargaz. As you can see on the map above, its coordinates are 53.38 and 44.56.
Use the lever to activate the elevator. If the lever seems to be unclickable, try relogging into the game. Sadly, it seems to be a common bug. Alternatively, you can fly to 72.00 and 42.00 in the Isle of Dorn region to skip having to use the elevator entirely.
Either way, you will appear in the Cinderworld area of the Isle of Dorn region after using the elevator. Next, you must travel further southeast, approaching Cinderbrew Meadery. The approximate coordinates for the quest are 72.06 and 42.05.
You should find Janky once you reach the marked spot. Talk with him and you’ll be able to complete and turn in this quest!
So there you have it, that’s how you complete the “New Home, New Candle” quest in WoW: The War Within. A later part of this questline will require you to complete a plumbing puzzle, which can be annoying. Check out our guide for the “Plumber Power” questto know more!
Venezuelan gamer cursed by being interested by most games, resulting in a ridiculous backlog he’ll never be able to conquer. Been gaming for over two decades now! Few things exemplify his wide variety in gaming tastes as the fact that he’s a big fan of both Souls games and the Atelier series at the same time. Also a big fan of Yakuza/Like a Dragon, Deadly Premonition, Zero Escape, and Dead Rising, among others. Considers Lost Judgment and Sekiro to both be masterpieces.
