U’llort the Self-Exiled is one of the many NPCs you can meet in WoW: The War Within, and he has a simple puzzle quest for you to solve.

When you first meet him, he simply asks you if you have a Boskroot Cap. That’s all you have to go on, but it’s also all you really need to solve his quest!

In this short guide, we’ll tell you how to find the Boskroot Cap for U’llort the Self-Exiled.

U'llort map location

You can find U’llort the Self-Exiled near the Boskroot Basin in the Isle of Dorn. His coordinates are 55.0, 65.6. Look for a cliff overlooking the basin itself.

Once you spot U’llort the Self-Exiled, talk with him. He’ll simply ask you if you have any Boskroot Cap and refuse to elaborate any further. Time to hunt down a Boskroot Cap!

The issue here is that Boskroot Caps have random spawn locations. You can find them anywhere in the Boskroot Basin, especially around the entrance to the Fungal Folly Delve. However, there aren’t any set spawns we can point you to.

Booksrot Cap

As such, you’ll simply have to explore the Boskroot Basin on your own. Use the image above as a reference, so you at least know what the Baskroot Cap looks like. It’s a simple mushroom with a thin white stalk and a wide red cap.

Mycobloom reward

Return to U’llort the Self-Exiled once you find and collect a Boskroot Cap. He’ll be in the same spot as before. U’llort will complain about the cap but he’ll still reward you for trying to help him out. Interact with the big mushroom U’llort spawned on the floor to claim your rewards.

That’s all there is to U’llort the Self-Exiled and his short puzzle quest in WoW: The War Within. We hope our guide helps you find these pesky Boskroot Caps more easily!
