As an F2P player, you want to have the best possible daily routine while playing Wuthering Waves as of Update 1.2.

While the game is definitely fair and enjoyable as an F2P player, you’ll always be a step behind paying players when it comes to resources. However, you can pick up the slack by having a solid daily routine to maximize how many resources you get. Especially if you want to save Astrite to pull in the gacha!

In this guide, we’ll give you a list of what activities to focus on each day as a F2P player, from most important to least important.

Best F2P Daily Routine in Update 1.2 | Wuthering Waves Guide

Use Up Your Waveplates

Spending Waveplates

The first thing you want to do for your daily routine in Wuthering Waves 1.2 as an F2P player is to use up your Waveplates.

Waveplates are the game’s stamina system, and you get 1 Waveplate every 6 minutes. As of now, the limit you can have is 240 Waveplates at once. So, essentially, you get a full recharge of 240 Waveplates every 24 hours.

If you already reach the limit of 240 Waveplates for the day, you’ll instead start charging Waveplate Crystals at a rate of 1 every 12 minutes. You can store up to 480 Waveplate Crystals and exchange them directly for the same amount of Waveplates. However, they recharge at half the speed so they’re not recommended. They’re still nice if you can’t play that day, though!

The big takeaway here is that you want to avoid letting your Waveplates stay at 240 for too long. Use them up as soon as possible so that they’re always charging up at the fastest speed for maximum efficiency! It’s absolutely vital to not let Waveplates overcap if you want to maximize your daily gains.

You can spend the Waveplates by playing the various training modes such as the Forgery Challenge and Tacet Field Cleanup. This is also important as these are your main source of every type of upgrade materials, which you can never have enough of as an F2P player.

If you want to know more, we have previously covered how to spend Waveplates wisely. Even though it was written for 1.0, it still holds up as of 1.2!

Complete the Daily Activities

Daily Activity

The second part of your daily routine in Wuthering Waves 1.2 is another fairly obvious one, whether you’re F2P or not: do your Daily Activities. They become available upon clearing the main quest “Ominous Star” during Chapter 1, Act 3.

These activities are randomized and you get a varying list of them each day. Completing any of them will give you a varying amount of Activity Points, with your goal being to get at least 100 Activity Points during the day. You don’t need to do every single Daily Activity either, since you just need to get the Activity Points!

Getting 100 Activity Points will get you at least 60 Astrite and 2000 Union EXP each day!

On that note, you’ll also get a Daily Quest as part of these Daily Activities. You can check your quest log to start it and it’s usually extremely simple and quick. We recommend doing that first of all while trying to knock out any other simple Daily Activities along the way.

Pioneer Podcast

You should also aim to complete all of the dailies for the Pioneer Podcast, which is the game’s battle pass system. This is doubly important if you’ve already purchased the battle pass! Completing these dailies is a great source of Pioneer Podcast EXP, so don’t ignore them unless you already reached the EXP limit for the week.

Gather Any Ascension Materials You Need

Ascension

With the bulk of the daily work done, you should now consider gathering any Ascension Materials you need for your Resonators.

These Ascension Materials are all found as flowers such as the Pecok Flowers and Lanterberries around the world. They can be around the game’s world in specific places, but you can only pick up 1 at each spawn location per day.

We don’t recommend trying to farm all the Ascension Material types every single day, of course. There are over a hundred spawns spread all over the map, so it would take forever each day! But we do recommend gathering them as part of your daily routine when you wish to Ascend a specific Resonator.

Remember, you can always check what Ascension Materials your Resonator needs by clicking on “Ascend” while viewing their Attribute Details!

Check the Events

Events

Another important part of your daily routine as a F2P player in Wuthering Waves 1.2 is to check the events page.

Events become available once you reach Union Level 17 and they come in many different flavors. Some of them are simple log-in events that will give you rewards just for booting up the game, while others will provide time-limited quests and gameplay modes. There are always new events being added to Wuthering Waves so make sure to take a peek at the events page so you don’t miss out!

Speaking of, we have an article about all of the known events we can expect during Wuthering Waves 1.2.

Complete Region Exploration Goals If You Haven’t

Exploration

There’s only one thing left to do in Wuthering Waves 1.2 if you’ve already exhausted all of the dailies, events, and quests… it’s time to explore!

Every region in Wuthering Waves has an Exploration Completion percentage. You’ll increase this percentage by finding points of interest (such as Resonance Beacons) and picking up collectibles (such as Supply Chests and Blobflies). Reaching certain percentage milestones will reward you with many goodies, such as Astrite andupgrade materials!

We won’t lie to you, though, reaching 100% exploration completion in every region will take a while. There are a lot of things to find and a lot of ground to cover in Wuthering Waves’ large world. That’s why we recommend making it a part of your daily routine and chipping away at it over time!

Nonetheless, that’s the last item on our list for what a F2P player’s daily routine should look like in Wuthering Waves 1.2 when trying to get the best efficiency.

Venezuelan gamer cursed by being interested by most games, resulting in a ridiculous backlog he’ll never be able to conquer. Been gaming for over two decades now! Few things exemplify his wide variety in gaming tastes as the fact that he’s a big fan of both Souls games and the Atelier series at the same time. Also a big fan of Yakuza/Like a Dragon, Deadly Premonition, Zero Escape, and Dead Rising, among others. Considers Lost Judgment and Sekiro to both be masterpieces.
