Elden Ringis a remarkable soul-like RPG that was released more than 2 years ago but is still played by many gamers out there. Recently, a DLC called Shadow of the Erdtree was released and it adds a lot of new stuff for players to experience.
One of the new additions is a location called Stone Coffin Fissure. To get there, you first need to break a rune. This guide will show you the location of the rune. And also the path you need to take to reach Stone Coffin Fissure.
How to get to the Stone Coffin Fissure
First thing you need to do is break the rune. To do so, make your way to the gates of Shadow Keep. The location is marked in the image below.
You just need to get close to the gates and that is it. The rune will automatically break once you do that. You will receive a message at the bottom of your screen saying “Somewhere, a great rune has broken…” as you can see in the image below.
Castle Front to Cerulean Coast
After breaking the rune, make your way to Castle Front. Once you get there, you need to take the following path:
Castle Front → Ellac River Cave → Ellac River Downstream → Cerulean Coast.
Getting the Southern Shore Map Fragment
After you get to Cerulean Coast, get the map fragment of Southern Shore to reveal it on your map. This will make it easier to reach the Stone Coffin Fissure. Check the image below for the location of the map fragment.
Once you reach the above marked location, you will be able to spot the map fragment as you can see marked in the image below.
Reaching the Stone Coffin Fissure
After getting the map fragment, make your way to the Stone Coffin Fissure by following the path marked below.
Now that you have reached Stone Coffin Fissure, you can also reach the Putrescent Knight boss. If interested, we have a guide available on the location of the Putrescent Knight.
