The new Elden Ring Patch 1.04 features a lot of exciting things for players, such as weapon skills and hidden areas. The Deeproot Depths, in particular, offers new armor, incantations, and more. However, the hidden passage leading to the place can be difficult to access.
How to Unlock the New Hidden Location After Patch 1.04 in Elden Ring
The Deeproot Depths is a secret location in Elden Ring. This place can be hard to access if you don’t know where to find the invisible wall. Four bosses exist in this region but the real challenge is how to locate the dungeon. Find out how to get to this hidden area with this guide.
Locating the Deeproot Depths
You can find your way to the Deeproot Depths after killing Mohg, the Omen, a boss in the Subterranean-Shunning Grounds section of Leyndell Royal Capital. Head northeast from the Site of Grace, Cathedral of the Forsaken.
On your way, you’ll come upon a large chasm with three diagonal planks. Go down on each plank carefully, then onto stone slabs protruding from the walls. On the last slab, you will find a window.
Get inside and turn to the left and jump down. Make sure to be careful before jumping to ensure you do not die. You’ll locate a treasure chest if you head straight south. The wall behind the chest is the hidden passage that will lead you to the Deeproot Depths.
