Terraria: How to Get Vampire Knives in 1.4.4

Vampire knives are one of the best weapons you can get in Terraria. Vampire Knives not only deals great damage, but it also fires a deadly spread of projectiles that deals a life-steal effect for each projectile that hits an enemy.

With a new patch recently coming, you wouldn’t want to miss out on some deadly firepower. This guide will help you get these deadly Vampire Knives to strap yourself against enemies. Let’s dive in.

How to Get Vampire Knives?

Vampire Knives can be found inside a Crimson Chest in the Dungeon at Crimson Worlds. To unlock the chest, you must have a Crimson key with you to unlock it.

To get to Crimson worlds, you must defeat a series of bosses. You can also get the Crimson Key from the monsters you kill inside the Crimson worlds.

Let’s go over which bosses you have to defeat.

First, go to the underworld to face off against the Wall of Flesh boss. You can reach the underworld by digging down or you can use Demon Conch.

Next, if you see the Guide NPC,  use your Guide Vodoo Doll to summon the rare boss Wall of Flesh. Then, do your best to kill this boss.

Afterward, you need to return to the surface. You can use a magic mirror or magic conch to quickly teleport to a location.

Once you’re back to the surface, wait until its night time to summon the three mechanical bosses. Use Mechanical Eye to summon The Twins, Mechanical Skull to summon Skeleton Prime, and Mechanical Worm to Summon the Destroyer.

It’s important to remember that you can defeat these bosses in any order.  So, there’s no need to rush.

Second, you need to defeat Plantera after you’ve killed the three mechanical bosses. You Find Plantera in the Jungle Biome and explore the Jungle underground system until you come across it.

After you defeat Plantera, head back to the surface and go to the Dungeon. The dungeon will contain an old man that will trigger the next boss called Skeletron.

Finally, go down into the dungeons to find the Crimson Chest. It’s usually situated on the upper right side of the dungeon, Make sure to break fake walls to go reach the chest faster.

Once you’ve defeated all these bosses and found the Crimson chest and Key, then you will get your hands on one of the strongest weapons in the game!
