As you play through Medieval Dynasty, you might notice that a seemingly common resource, Iron, is nowhere to be found for quite a while. That’s because there are a few prerequisites you’ll have to keep in mind as you look for it.
How to Get Iron in Medieval Dynasty
In the game’s early hours, the only reliable way to get Iron is to buy it from merchants, usually for around 60-50 coins. Occasionally, Iron can also be found randomly in broken carts and barrels, mostly near cave entrances.
Naturally, you might think that you’ll be able to find more inside the caves, but that’s only half-correct. Iron won’t spawn inside a cave unless you’ll built a mine in front of it first.
A Steady Supply Of Iron
Once you’ve built a mine in front of the cave, you’ll need to craft use a pickaxe for the Iron to spawn. It still appears randomly, which makes looking for it hard on your own. But, you can assign villagers to work in your mine, to maximize your iron gains.
The Cost of Iron
Until you have the tier 3 smithy and required recipes, you won’t have much use for Iron, except for completing a few quests that require it. And you’ll have to invest your points into the appropriate building technology to construct mines first.
So for most of the quests, you might want to simply buy the ore from merchants.
