The new Chapter 3: Season 4 update of Fortnite has brought a lot of new exciting features for the players. The map modifications are very obvious and are actually very well made.

Aside from that, new mechanics such as the key and vault were added to the game. And of course, one of the most highly anticipated for every update are the new weapons, specifically the mythic weapons.

All Mythics Locations in Season 4 in Fortnite

Among all the exotic and mythic weapons, we will e giving focus to the mythic weapons this season. These are called EvoChrome weapons because of the emergence of the Chrome in Fortnite, hence their names. Specifically, these two are the EvoChrome Shotgun and the EvoChrome Burst Rifle.

What’s special with these weapons are the fact that you can effortlessly upgrade them from uncommon to mythic. The reason I mentioned effortlessly is because you will not be required to loot for attachments to upgrade these two. The magic here is the evolve weapon prompt.

The only thing you have to do to evolve these two is to deal damage using these guns. Damaging non-player characters is counted. As long as you are using these weapons to deal damage, your EvoChrome weapons will progress.

If you are carrying the weapon, you will see a progress bar under the name. Use this to keep track on how far you are to the next upgrade. If you are using it, you will not notice that you have already reached the legendary rarity and then the mythic in no time.

You can find these weapons in the Herald’s Sanctum, Lustrous Lagoon, Reality Tree, Last Legs, or in any area of the map that is covered by chrome. You can see this inside the chests that are chrome-covered. If you spot one, there is a high possibility that an EvoChrome weapon is inside.

Moreover, there is a faster way to obtain the EvoChrome Burst Rifle in the mythic rarity already. Just go to the Herald’s Sanctum and defeat the Herald. When the EvoChrome Burs Rifle is obtained in this way, it will be called as The Herald’s Burst Rifle.
