Genshin Impact: How to Lower/Drain Water in Vanarana Cave

Genshin Impact is an open-world action RPG. Because of it being an open-world type of game, the traveler will have the freedom of exploring different areas of the map. This includes mountains, a wide land area, and even the inside of caves.

In this guide, we will focus on the Vanarana cave and on how to drain the water inside.

How to Lower/Drain Water in Vanarana Cave in Genshin Impact

Draining the water inside the Vanarana cave is actually a long process to finish. There are still some things you need to do and accomplish before you can lower the water inside the cave.

To start off, you must first be able to finish the whole Aranyaka quest—this is the most important part in doing this task. If you still haven’t finished the quest, then you will not be able to start this task.

The reason behind this is that you will need to finish the Rhythm of the Beastly Trail in order to proceed.

Enter the Cave

The first thing you need to do is enter the Vanarana cave. It is also perfect to use a Bow character throughout the progress of this task as you will be needing its weapon and combat style.

Keep on walking until you see the withered plants. You will see three withered plants in the middle section of the cave, and another two withered plants in the upper section of the cave.

Use Dendrograna

As you progress inside the cave, you will receive damage from the cave enemies. Go near the dendrograna and summon it. With that, use a charged attack or aimed shot to hit the flowers around you. This is where your bow characters will come in handy. Although non-bow characters can also summon Dendrograna, it will be difficult for them to land an accurate attack.

The Dendro Totem

After receiving and dealing damages with the withered plants, look for the Dendro Totem. Once you see it, land a dendro attack or with a Dendrograna. Once you succeed in doing this, the water level inside the cave will sink.
