After 2 weeks of anticipation, Frigg is finally here in Tower of Fantasy Global. Wielding her weapon Balmung, she is quickly becoming one of the top favourites on day one.

She is all about speed. Dodging attacks while delivering devastating counters that could freeze opponents and lock them in place. A very useful weapon depending on your playstyle.

The question is, should you max her out after getting her? Today we are going to talk about one of the characters that you first caught a glimpse of in the tutorial stage, dueled with on the beach and is the Angel of Clemency for the Heirs of Aida, the Simulacra Frigg.

Should you Max Frigg in Tower of Fantasy

First, let us look at Her Base Stats. Her weapon ability to shatter and charge are both A ranks which are decent but not spectacular. She also activates ice resonance when one other ice-type weapon is used in her team. This gives extra damage to her overall attacks even at a 1-star level.

When she fully charges her weapon, she then encases her enemies in a ice shell that freezes the target for 2 seconds and gives a frost debuff for 6 seconds.  Shattering the ice shell deals 150% damage and her frost debuff lowers the enemy weapon charge rate by 50% and deals extra damage to your basic attacks.

Attacks and Skills

Her normal attacks deal damage and knockback. Spamming her attack combo lets you position enemies as you continue to damage them.  She is best used coming out of dodges so most of her attacks would be best initiated right after dodges or dashes.

Her Skill, Fimbulwinter slashes the space around you that deals damage and suspends and launches targets into the air. She also creates a frost domain around you for 25 seconds. inside her domain, your dodge meter will not be deducted while doing a dodge and increases your shatter by 25% when using frost weapons.

Her discharge skill lets you dash forward and controlling enemies in the area before unleashing her attack. This deals considerable damage and launches enemies in the air.

With that being said, let us see if she’s worth advancing.

Advancement

At 1 Star: you gain one frostiness point every time you deal 550% frost attack damage in the frost domain. You can stack Frostiness points up to 10 points. When the frost domain ends, you deal extra damage as a blast attack. If you leave the frost domain while it is still active, you lose 1 frostiness point every 3 seconds.

Two Stars: This increases your Hp Growth by 16%.

Three stars: increase your frostiness limit to 15. When using frost weapon discharge skills inside the frost domain, it deals damage equal to 20% of your frost attack to all targets within the frost domain.

Four Stars: increases your weapon base attack growth rate by 32%.

Five stars: shattering shields with frost weapons inside the frost domain freezes the target for two seconds and grant you 35% additional damage. If the target cannot be frozen, this further doubles the damage dealt instead.

Six Stars: when frostiness reaches 15 points and you are in the frost domain, you gain an additional domain of frost II which increases frost attack by 12% when you are using frost weapons.

Is She Worth Advancing?

You should definitely max her if you plan on using frost-type attacks in your weapon set. Pairing her together with another ice-type weapon like Meryl boosts both their damage output and switching weapons within her frost domain can easily break shields and deal massive damage to enemies.

Her playstyle is unique with a focus on dodges and dashes before attacking full force. Getting her up to 6 stars would take considerable time and resources but she would definitely pay off in the end.
