Genshin Impact: How to Unlock Pardis Dhyai Underground Cave Puzzle

Pardis Dhyai is one of the newest areas within the new Sumeru region. In this area, you’ll find an underground cave, but unfortunately, the cave is blocked by a Phantasmal gate that you have to open first. In this guide, I’ll show you how you can do that.

How to Unlock Pardis Dhyai Underground Cave Puzzle in Genshin Impact

To get to the entrance to the underground cave, you need to go through the entrance of a cave first. To do this, you want to head over to this part of the map:

Once you get there, you’ll notice the entrance to the cave. Simply go through it and keep moving forward until you come across a waterfall. At the bottom is a mushroom-looking jumping pad which you need to jump on to get to the platform in the middle of the waterfall.

In the platform, you’ll find yet another pad. Jump on that pad to reach the top of the waterfall. Continue all the way forward until you reach an area with a Phantasmal gate. On the right is another path that’s blocked by a Dendro rock.

You need to destroy it by summoning the Dendrograna at the left and shooting a charge attack at the rock.

After destroying the rock, keep moving forward until you encounter some enemies. In the same room, you’ll find a Seelie inside a cage. You need to clear all enemies in the area to free up the Seelie. Then, follow it as it finds its way back to the previous room.

There, you need to summon the Dendrograna once again and then shoot the Dendro totem in order to unlock the gate.

Completing a Time Trial

Proceed through the entrance to find yet another sealed gate at the bottom. In front of the gate is a huge Sprouting Branch. Interact with the branch to play the Rhythm of the Great Dream. However, this will not open the gate.

Instead, you want to head inside the branch for it to start a challenge called Trial of the Phantasmal Gate.

To complete the trial, you need to collect all 15 shining particles within the area in under 1 minute and 30 seconds. Since the area is pretty small, it shouldn’t take you that long to collect all of them. You can also get a few extra seconds for each particle you collect, thus extending your time even further.

Once you’re done, go back to the Sprouting Branch and interact with it to offer the Phantasmal seeds. This will complete the challenge, and a reward chest will appear in front of you. Loot the chest for the rewards, and it will open the gate at the same time.
