Genshin Impact 3.0 has released the newest region, Sumeru. Along with the new map update, new quest lines are also available.

In this guide, we will show you how to unlock the Rhythm Quest Line that you will encounter while discovering all the wonders of Sumeru.

How to Unlock Rhythm Quest Line in Genshin Impact

Before you can trigger the whole Rhythm Quest Line, you must first complete the Aranyaka: Part I Woodland Encounter. Otherwise, you can proceed to this quest line. But if you haven’t finished this part, here’s how you should do.

Before you start the Aranyaka: Part I Woodland Encounter, you will have to defeat three Stretchy Geo Fungus together with an NPC who will later reveal herself as Rana. After defeating the fungi, you must follow Rana to the Vimara village.

Following Rana in the Withering Zone

As you proceed on following Rana, you will need to summon the Dendrogana and defeat the three Withering Branches in the Withering Zone. Along with the Withering Branches, you will also encounter two Floating Dendro Fungi that you must eliminate.

Once you finished the three Withering Branches, you will also have to defeat a winged Dendroshroom before you leave the zone.

The Children of Vimara Village

For you to proceed to the Vimara Village, just follow the waypoint down the path and claim the Teleport Waypoint for Vimara Village.

Upon arriving, you and Rana will stop by Grandpa Amadhiah which is located at the southern part of the trail. Later, Rana and Alphonso will strike a conversation as you approach them. You will be given a choice whether to leave the quest or to proceed and find out the reason behind the disappearance of the children.

Into The Woods

To clear this sub-quest, you must go to a withering zone again and clear it by defeating the enemies, summon a

Dendrogana, and destroy the Tumor of Withering. Aside from all these, you still have to locate the Spinocrocodiles and defeat them. However, using the Four-Leaf Sigil will help you avoid having combat between you and Spinocrocodiles.

Now, you must collect three firewood located at the middle of the river, beside the Sunsettia tree, and at the tall bushes in front of the Sunsettia tree

. After that, return to Rana and light up the campfire.

The Lost Child

To start this sub-quest, you must return to the Vimara village. However, it is important not to teleport back to the village—you must meet Rana in the creek.

As you are following the quest marker, you can opt to use the Four-Leaf Sigil or the Bouncy Mushroom to get up the cave as fast as you can. There, you will be ambushed by two Fatuis. By this time, character change won’t be possible.

After defeating all the enemies, you have to look for Iotham inside the cave which will lead you to another Withering Zone. After clearing the zone, you are now free to go back to the village, but you shouldn’t teleport your way back. Instead, you will trace back the direction you took before.

Return Iotham

As you head back to Vimara Village, look for Alphonso and return Iotham. By this time, you will have to return to the cave and rescue Rana. You will eventually find out that she is missing and the only clue you have are the dendro traces.

At the end of the traces, you will see Rana resting in a Dendro bubble. Here, a cabbage fairy will reveal itself as Arana.

Arana

After Arana introduce itself, it will also tell you that Rana still needs something for it to fully heal her. She needs Bija from Vanarana. However, the traveler must sing the Rhythm of the Great Dream to enter Vanarana.

At this point, you have already completed the Aranyaka: Part I Woodland Encounter and unlocked the Aranyaka: Part II Dream Nursery. To trigger the quest, interact with Arakavi.
