In The Sims 4, there are many reasons why you would want to turn into a werewolf, but there are just as many reasons why you could want to do the opposite. You might be overcoming your desire to cure yourself or tired of putting up with werewolf rampages. Thankfully, it is pretty straightforward to cease being a werewolf; we’ll show you how in this guide.
How to Stop Being A Werewolf in The Sims 4
In The Sims 4, curing yourself as a Werewolf is relatively straightforward but challenging. You’ll need to get the lunar epiphany, scavenge for Greg’s journal, and ultimately consume the cure.
Given that it’s more complicated than many things in The Sims 4, it’s an excellent way to do it and is pretty enjoyable.
Curing Werebies
First, you’ll need to get the Lunar Epiphany dormant werewolf ability before your sims may study werewolf books and acquire the cure.
To unlock this dormant skill, your Sims will need to read a few werewolf books from the library or the bookcases in the werewolf hangout. These books can also be found throughout the world. Read a few of these until the notification for the unlocked Lunar Epiphany appears.
Once you have your Lunar Epiphany ability, you will now be able to learn more about Moonwood Mill, the werewolf lifestyle, and how to find the cure.
Next, you must obtain a copy of The Diary of Greggorius Lunvik. You will need to buy the Scavenger werewolf ability because you must scavenge around on the ground in Moonwood Mill to find this book.
After your sim locates the diary, you should immediately have them read it so that you may see a prompt. The notification informs you that you now know how to make the Wolf-B-Gone drink at the end of its discussion of John and Maria’s hunt for a cure.
Before creating this drink at any bar, your Sims must have two objects in their possession.
Those items are:
3 Moonpetal
10 Wolfsbane
You can only find Moonpetal during full moons because it only blooms then. On a full moon evening, you can locate this in Moonwood Mill at the howling point on top of the mountain.
Since it blooms more frequently, Wolfsbane is a little easier to come by because it may be harvested in several different places across the world.
Once you have the required materials, head to a bar and create the Wolf-B-Gone drink. Drink it and say goodbye to being a Wolf!
If you’re not a Werewolf, but you’ve caught Werebies, you can ask for the remedy from the bartender in Grimtooth Bar & Bunker to get cured.
