If you want to try some pretty interesting builds for Elden Ring, then you might want to consider the Nebula Knight. The Nebula Knight is a Dexterity/Intelligence hybrid that uses the Wing of Astel’s Nebula skill to deal devastating damage to enemies.
Let’s have a look at how you can make this build.
How to Build a Nebula Knight in Elden Ring
In order to make this build, you’ll first need the Wings of Astel. This is a curved sword that deals both physical and magic damage. It also deals 20% more against Gravity-type enemies.
However, what makes it really powerful is its Nebula Ash of War. This is a skill that shoots star-like projectiles that detonate for massive damage.
Another thing that really makes this skill amazing is the fact that it’s purely magic damage. This means that any enemy that doesn’t have any magic resistance will get shredded in seconds. You can also boost its overall damage easily using items like the Magic Scorpion Charm or the Magic-Shrouding Cracked Tear, among others.
Now, let’s have a breakdown of the build regarding what armors to use, which talismans to equip, etc.
Armor
The armor can be really up to you, but I would highly recommend the Greathelm as well as the Scaled Armor set for the remaining parts. This combination gives you enough protection and poise without having to fat roll, which is one thing you’d want to avoid at all costs.
Also, a poise of at least 56 will be enough to poise through most attacks, allowing you to perform the Nebula skill without getting interrupted.
Talisman
As for the talisman, you’ll want to use the following:
Magic Scorpion Charm – Increases your magic attack which also affects the damage output of the Nebula skill.
Assassin’s Cerulean Dagger – Since the build doesn’t invest too much on FP points, this is one way of regaining lost FP each time you perform a critical hit on a target.
Shard of Alexander – Simple but powerful, this talisman gives a significant boost to your weapon’s skill damage.
Curved Sword Talisman – Since you’ll be using a shield, using this talisman allows you to deal more damage whenever you perform a guard counter.
Gameplay
The gameplay for the Nebula Knight is quite easy. Whenever you fight 1v1 against regular enemies, you’ll want to limit your attacks to block counters. I highly recommend NOT using your Nebula skill as it will drain your FP pretty quickly.
However, when you’re up against a group of enemies, then this is where you use the skill. This will do quick work of all enemies in a medium area, especially if they all come running toward you.
You can also buff your shield with Scholar’s Shield for that extra guard boost. Since you don’t have lots of stamina in this build, having that additional guard boost can be a huge help.
