If you’re starting out in Helldivers 2, you’ll want to think hard about what the best Warbonds are, and our tier list is here to help with that!

All of the Warbonds work as a sort of battle pass system featuring weapons and other unlocks. However, most of them require you to spend Super Credits to get. These credits require either real money or grinding, so you have to pick Warbonds carefully!

In this guide, we’ll tell you the best Warbonds to pick

Best Warbonds Tier List | Helldivers 2

  • S – Helldivers Mobilize, Democratic Decoration
  • A+ – Urban Legends, Polar Patriots, Dust Devils
  • A – Freedom’s Flame, Chemical Agents, Control Group, Servants of Freedom, Cutting Edge, Steeled Veterans, Viper Commandos, Borderline Justice, Truth Enforcers
  • B – Masters of Ceremony, Obedient Democracy Support Troopers (Halo ODST)

This tier list is based on a general overview of what unlocks each Warbond gives you. So, it’s no surprise to see Helldivers Mobilize remain at the top even long after the game’s launch!

Mobilize contains many unlocks that are generally considered top-tier, and we don’t mean just weapons. It also has some of the best Boosters, such as Vitality Enhancement, making it a must-have. Plus, it’s the only free Warbond to boot.

After that, we highly recommend Democratic Decoration as the one must-have Premium Warbond.

It gives you access to a lot of incredible weapons and tools, such as the R-36 Eruptor and CB-9 Explosive Crossbow. Both of those weapons are on our top tier primary weapons list for every single enemy faction!

A+ Tiers

Dust Devils Warbond | Helldivers 2

That’s for our S Tier picks, of course. As for the A+ Tiers, they are all great choices, with some of the best gear in the game spread across them.

So, they’re your next best picks if you already maxed out the S tiers. Just look into what unlocks they give you and decide which one best fits your playstyle.

Here’s a quick breakdown of what to expect from the A+ Warbonds:

  • Urban Legends – The main draw to this Warbond is the excellent armor, which all comes with the Siege Ready passive. This passive increases all reload speeds by 30% and ammo counts by 20%! It also has the excellent Anti-Tank Emplacement and Flame Sentry stratagems.
  • Polar Patriots – The PLAS-101 Purifier, an excellent explosive gun for dealing with Automatons and Illuminate. The Warbond also provides a lot of general utility, setting you up to deal with all 3 hostile factions.
  • Dust Devils – Contains one of the best assault rifles in the game, the AR-2 Coyote. It works great in almost every situation, making it a must-have if you use ARs. You also get some very strong general-use Stratagems. Plus, armor that improves your throwing range and resistance to fire, gas, acid, and electricity.

Realistically speaking, you’re basically set to deal with anything the game throws at you if you fully unlock the S and A+ tier Warbonds!

Lower Tiers

Helldivers 2 PC Gameplay

Moving on to the A Tier, these are all great Warbonds. However, we only recommend getting them if you already have everything in the S and A+ tiers.

They just provide less value overall. They aren’t bad by any means, but you can get a lot more bang for your buck by getting the higher-tier Warbonds. That is, unless there’s a specific unlock in them that you know would work wonders for your playstyle.

Lastly, the B Tier is the Warbonds that you can ignore for the most part. Most of their unlocks are either sidegrades or overall just not as good as the ones in higher-tier Warbonds. Only get them if you’ve already exhausted all the other Warbonds!

But well, that’s just our tier list of what the best Warbonds are in Helldivers 2! We hope this helps you decide which ones to focus on as you spread democracy.
