There are plenty of ways to go about it, but if you really want to be the most efficient and treat the game like a grinding simulator, then here are a few tips that the community have figured out when it comes to farming super credits, medals, and even samples in the latest version of the game.
Helldivers 2 – How to Farm Super Credits, Medals and Samples Fast (New Update)
As previously mentioned, there are plenty of ways to go about farming all of these materials and currencies. In order to be the most efficient, at least as far as the community knows at the moment, you will need to do the following things.
First of all, if you want a lot of Super Credits, then you will want to spawn in maps that are wide and open. In addition to that, play the lowest level missions that you can do. This will make it extremely easy to run around and just grab things from points of interest.
Basically, you will just want to play an easy mission and farm the points of interest without paying any mind to anything else. As boring or repetitive as that sounds, this is the absolute best way to farm at the moment because it gives you little to no things to worry about throughout your runs.

If you play long enough, you will be able to tell if a map is a good fit just by looking at the preview image in the star map.
As for samples, you are going to want to find specific mission types to start farming those. In particular, for green samples, you will want to do cleanse infested district missions. It is up to you to decide what difficulty level to roll with, as we have no idea what your levels and personal capability are looking like. It is good experience too.
Blitz: Search and Destroy missions are some of the best when it comes to orange samples, so go for those if that is what you are currently short on. Alternate between the two different types of mission we just mentioned so that you do not burn out from doing a single activity over and over again.
